Family owned and run business. They are the experts on models and have all the supplies to build the models. The selection is awesome, as I bought a beginner model (snap together) for my young nephew, but my husband is master modeler. Ron the owner will help, give you ideas and they even do repair jobs. This is an old fashioned valued run store. No gimmicks, what you see is what you get.

Hobby Lobby is a great place to check out if you are looking for some nice gift bags. This store has a huge variety of them and you can get them in all different sizes! They are priced really affordably as well. I believe their most priciest bag runs around 4 dollars.
One really cool thing here is that they sell these plain gift bags. Along with that you can buy all the decorating items you want and design your own bag. Choose from a huge selection of paints, beads, ribbons, stickers, etc to make your bag just the way you want it. This is a great thing to do with kids because it lets them add a personal touch to their gifts!
Best part about this is that this store is really affordable so your project won't cost you too much!

With two bowling alleys in Mundelein, which one do you go to? Mundelein Lanes is cheaper and has a better atmosphere in my opinion. Whether it is with your friends or family, you won't be disappointed. Mundelein Lanes features quarter mania on Wednesday's where you can bowl games for only a quarter. Also Bill's Pizza is served to this bowling alley.

During the brief time I played racquetball, this was one of the places I used to go to play. It is kind of hidden up a long driveway, and the place can seem a bit worse for wear. However, I think it was a good place to be able to learn how to play and fairly cheap to get a court when you wanted to play.

Make sure to shop at Abernathy's if your looking for personal assistance. Their selection is not as high as a Marshall Fields, but the merchandise is high quality. This business has been family run for years. Looking for Scouting uniforms or specialty items for high school - this is the place. The store carries the top end shoe names. Great store for a small town.
