The restaurant is buried in the small strip of Mount Vernon's downtown so it's almost like a town secret. This place is fantabulous!
When you walk in you enter a different world; not what I expected at all. The ambience is very, very inviting, cultured, and clean. Traditional Thai music plays at a nice level while you dine and the lighting is perfect.
The waitress was very helpful in helping me decide what to order and I was asked throughout my meal how I was doing, so I didn't feel forgotten.
There are so many choices on the menu that I will definitely return. The best part of the menu is that there are many vegetarian dishes to choose from and what isn't listed as veggie can be made veggie just for you. There are also Chef Specialties offered; how cool is that?
This is a must-stop-in little hideaway!

This is my favorite restaurant in our area~ and just a favorite in general. Alberto, the owner is very entertaining. He's always coming out to talk to the customers, and the women love him! The food and wine is just exquisite! Very authentic Italian food. I would recommend this to everyone! And I think I have! I always get nothing but "thank you for telling us about this place!" very enjoyable
Pros: Excellent food, Excellent wine, Ambience is great

The food here is excellent, and the variety can't be topped in this town. From the lunch menu to the martini menu, I can always find something that satisfies my mouth and stomach. My favorite is the Ahi off the appetizer menu. Try it during happy hour!

In todays busy environment, I don't get a chance to say thank you besides leaving a substantial tip for exceptional services rendered. Finding this the perfect opportunity, I appreciate the beneficial relationship that you establish with customers like me in Skagit Valley. Your award winning pizza is the finest. Whenever I get that sudden urge for mexican food the fist mouth watering place that comes to mind is El Gitano. I love the vibrant and happy atmosphere, and the chicken enchilladas are a must! The service is average but for what little they lack they make up for in taste.

Hong Kong Restaurant serves some very good Chinese food--I recommend the Mongolian beef, almond chicken and pot stickers. The speed of the service is uneven, but the servers are always polite. Prices are reasonable, ambience is about what you'd expect at a Chinese restaurant (although it's fairly obvious that the building used to be a Wendy's!). The best-kept secret of Hong Kong Restaurant is that they have an excellent lounge-- spacious, with a well-stocked bar, and since it's usually almost empty, you can easily get a pool table!

Teriyaki House has everything, hot tea, tasty food, and a nice selection of sushi and sashimi. I love their spicy tuna roll and tako. The price was reasonable, and my food was very good.
