This clinic serves primarily low income/poverty level families. I've been there several times and I can't stand any of the receptionists. They are totally impersonal and there to make a paycheck, not care about the patients. The doctors there, however, more than make up for this downfall. I've had several visits with the doctors there and they are all fabulous and caring! The dentists are nice too, but I did have a problem with a tooth that was not fixed correctly because the dentist was in a hurry to get to lunch.(She should have kept that to herself) I had to go back and get the tooth fixed again so i never went back after that.

I went to see Dr. Rowland because she specializes in a procedure that ultimately would sterilize me, however, would treat a long term battle of so far untreatable severe hemorrhaging. I was basically told that I would need to have children before she would do the procedure because she was uncomfortable with the thought of me not having kids. She gave me a lame medical excuse as to why, but it was mostly her. she then performed several costly and painful tests (that were'nt covered by insurance) then gave me conflicting results with no answers. bottom line she is more concerned with her own morality and "standards" than she is with the physical and mental health of her own patients. I would never let her touch me again. thanks for nothing.
