Cold Stone Creamery has been in town here for probably close to 2 years now. The idea behind it is that you pick your ice cream flavor, then you pick items you want IN the ice cream (not ON), and they mix it together, then add it to a bowl or cone, and you have a custom made ice cream.
The lines are usually very long. The prices are rather high. Now, your total experience depends on who you have making the ice cream, though. They have a standard amount of how much of each topping they are supposed to add, but many of the servers don't add even half of that. Some add more than that. Some mix them in real well. Others do not.
For the price, I do not think the product is worth it. However, it is good ice cream. It's just not an every day (or even once a month) trip for us.
It's good- not great, but not bad, either. I'd rather spend a dollar more and buy it premade at the grocery store, though.
