We recently relocated from Europe, where my child had attended pre-school without an issues or incidents for over 3 years.
He attended Kiddie Academy for only 8 days and during that time, he was excluded from participation of class activities, food withdrawn as punishment, often removed for time out for an hour and a half, ridiculed in front of his class, priors and myself. But on his last day, just before I removed him – I entered the class room where I found him sat on a chair on his own, at the rear of the class room, with the lights out, facing away from the other children whom were watching a film, sobbing ‘school don’t like me’.
I collected my child immediately and removed him from the school permanently.
When I approach the teachers about the incident, they brushed it off and said he was new to the system.
I have reported the pre-school to the appropriate school regulatory boards.
