I've been to many Chinese restaurants and Hunan Chili Restaurant ranks far below any sit-down Chinese restaurants that I've ever visited. My friend ordered string beans and I ordered mu-shu chicken. The string beans were oily and salty while the mu-shu chicken tasted plain and was nothing special. In addition, they charged us $1.90 for rice! Most Thai restaurants charge $1.00 for rice but I rarely ever see Chinese restaurants charging money for rice when you order an entree. I thought it was ridiculous and I would never go there again.

We went to Hunan Chili last Saturday for the first time and it was a total disappointment. We ordered the string beans with beef, which was extremely oily and salty and dumplings looked and tasted like the frozen ones you get from the Chinese Supermarket. In addition to that, when the dumplings were served, they were cold. On the scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best), we will give Hunan Chili a "4." We really do not recommend it!

This is a great Chinese food restaurant. I have never eaten there for dinner, but their lunch special is excellent. Their lunch prices are very reasonable and you great dessert too. (Ice Cream). Service is very prompt to satisfy the lunch hour rush.
