We usually buy burritos to go from La Bamba. Their Carne Asada burrito is great. It is fun watching them putting the burritos together. Wish I could roll my burritos like they do.

I really like the carne asada burrito and the carne asada quesidilla here. They are probably incredibly bad for you, but they taste great! For the burrito, get it with all the extras like guac and sour cream. Sometimes my husband and I get one carne asada and one vegetarian if we don't want such a huge amount of meat. It is a pretty small restaurant, basically a burrito stand that's enclosed.

Excellent place. Definitely not fine dining. But great food, all the staff is friendly, and the prices are low!
Pros: Food, Service, Price
Cons: Crappy seats

Taqueria La Bamba rises the humble burrito above the pre-packaged garbage that is passed off these days. The carnitas is perfectly done, with a nice crusty outside and juicy inside. The carne asada is also delectably seasoned. The prices are very reasonable.
PROS: Possibly the best burrito in the Bay Area
CONS: No tables to sit at, and can be quite cold in the winter.

Their meats are deliciously marinated and cooked to perfection; the burritos are a perfectly sized; you can see them preparing your food at all times; they have spinach tortillas (a big plus for all you health nuts); however, the only drawback would be their chips. If only they made them themselves, and they were still warm....

They fill the burritos, the plates, and your belly.
Once you taste their burrito, you will crave for it every weekend.
