I love stopping in Diddams when I have some free time, it's a fun store to just browse in. They have a full selection of paper party goods for childrens and adult parties, but they also have a wide selection of toys, cards, stickers and other fun things. At Halloween they turn about half of the store into a costume shop with a huge selection. They also have a large selection of candles, lotions and other gift items.

I love going to Diddams--you never know what you're going to find. They have the standard card store stuff--cards, gift wrap, party supplies, etc. but also stock kids toys & games, scrapbooking stuff, candles & gift-y stuff, and more Hello Kitty than you can shake a $5 pencil at! And don't get me started about their Halloween supplies! My favorite part is probably their cheapo party favor bins--vat after vat of Made-in-China toys that cause my inner child to go ape!

Where else can you find a hat made of fake fur for Burning Man? Diddams in Mtn View, of course, which sells all types of costumes and party favors. We were looking for costumes we could wear to Burning Man on the playa, and Diddam's had all the random party hats you need. (We found over 20 kinds of furry hats). The prices are moderately expensive--this isn't a discount store. But for the selection of paper plates, face paints, halloween costumes, and other random party favors, you can't beat Diddam's selection. Our favorite find: 200 ft of "rope light" to light up our huge tent at burning man. One caveat: for "open" costumes or "unpackaged" goods, all sales are final; Diddam's won't take them back.

I originally came here looking for only balloons to accompany a Valentine's day gift but I ended up finding a lot more than I expected. When they say headquarters they really mean headquarters. This place had a large variety of gift wrap, different boxes for your gifts, candles, cards, party accessories for every occasion, stuffed animals, etc. I wanted to drop by for 10 minutes only but I ended up browsing for an hour. They have a large balloon section in the back of the store and for a small fee will inflate all your balloons for free. They had heavy duty latex and balloons with messages imprinted on them. You'll definitely find all of the necessary party decorations for every occasion. If only they had party food at this place too, then it would be the complete one-stop party shop.
