It seems like there are a million bagel shops in town but the House of Bagels has always stood out as having fantastic bagels and great service. They have the usual varieties of bagels plus mini bagels which my toddler son loves. My favorite is the cheddar cheese bagel, which has a nice topping of chewy cheese on top. They also sell several flavors of cream cheese and will make sandwiches to order. If you buy a dozen bagels the 13th is free. I buy them buy the dozen and freeze them at home, they defrost really well.

I used to work right across the street from the Country Deli and I was so bummed when my company moved. The Country Deli offers a great range of salads and sandiches plus heart daily specials like spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread. This place is BUSY at lunchtime, but don't be scared off my long lines, they are really quite efficient at getting you through quickly.

This is a great Italian restaurant located on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View, CA. We've been back several times and the food has never let us down.
The risotto is yummy and changes every night, so be sure and ask your waiter for the special of the day.
the owner is always there so it gives the place a homey touch. Once you've been there he recognizes you and welcomes you back - you feel as though you are "home."
Try it, I know that you'll like it.

This place is amazing. I love their unique roll menu-- Crunch Calliente and Dancing Eby are amazing! I haven't tried much of their other stuff, but if you are a roll lover, you will not be disappointed. Their veggie tempura is also excellent if you are vegetarian. This place is quite authentic and most of the staff is Japanese.
On Sundays they even have all you can eat sushi, but their specialty rolls are not included.
The only disappointment is the miso is $2 a bowl! I think many other places it is complimentary. They make up for it with free green tea.
