Why do I always forget to go to Trader Joe's? They are so killer! You can buy some of the same brands for several dollars off what other local groceries charge. Great heat & eat food, bevereages, hummus, veggies, lots of natural foods.
The stores are small so it's usually crowded, but they really have great stuff for a good price.

I haven't tried to buy macademia nuts at Trader Joes but I do buy other kind of nuts there and they are always the cheapest for whatever reason. They also have really cheap oils too. Probably... More
I haven't tried to buy macademia nuts at Trader Joes but I do buy other kind of nuts there and they are always the cheapest for whatever reason. They also have really cheap oils too. Probably because they have their own suppliers I guess. Give them a call or stop by to check!

Trader Joe’s grocery store in the San Antonio Mall is great for specialty foods and some organic or health food kinds of items. They have a very good selection of cheeses, but hardly any produce. Big selection of wines. Parking can be a problem here as well, and the service, while adequate does not have the ring of true fiendliness that Mi Casa or Bumblebee or Piazza’s. Their porices are prety good on the items they have--but they do not have a lot of what I am usually looking for.
