California Billiard Club at 881 E El Camino Real in mountain View is a great place to play pool. It is conveniently located near 85 and el camino real. They have way too many pool tables so there is never a wait. I often take my colleages here to play. They provide all the equipment. While you are playing, waitresses will come by to accept meal orders. They even serve you meals while you are playing. They serve many different types of beer.

The Century 16 Movie Theater, located off the 101 exit at Shoreline Blvd., is an aging movie theater. They don't take credit cards (you have to use this ridiculous fandango.com site to buy your tickets online if you want to use your visa card), the concession stand is a bit wacko (it's like a cafeteria where you grab everything then wait in a separate line to pay), and the theater is often dirty (they have to hire more cleaning staff).
The upholstry on the chairs are aging and starting to show its wear as well.
That said, on weekend nights, the theater is still amazingly full. There is plenty of free parking, but there are friday evenings when it's not easy to find a spot.
Movies are $9.75 at the time of this writing. $6.75 if you have a student ID or for a matinee (2pm or before) showing.

They are located in Mountain View and offer a variety of private lessons and group classes. They also have a workshop where kids get to try out different instruments. The CSMA fall semester has already started, but their private lesson instructors are often willing to start students anyway, provided they have room in their schedules.
In addition, they also have free concerts for kids and families on Sunday afternoons.

Gold Star isn't a bad gym, but it is a little small compared to some of the other gyms around, including Twister. The instructors aren't bad and it is a pretty good place to take gymnastics if you live in the area. I recommend it for aspiring gymnasts who really want to learn the sport of gymnastics! This gym is a gymnast's dream, it has everything, so it is great! It is also located on a good location on El Camino so you can't miss it!

The Mountain view center for performing arts, what a great addition to the community. Right downtown Mountain view. There is always some kind of show in here. Whether it is a local dance studio or a proffesional performace. This theater sees not one Nutcracket a year. Its a great three storey experience. I wouldnt say it was top notch, but it IS really cool. Back stage is really nice. Lots of rooms for lots of dancers/performers. All the rooms are different sizes so you can put different groups into different rooms. There is even a bakery inside with really nice little cakes.

This is a studio that does only ballet. The teachers aren't that great, not the best that I've seen. Some pick favorites and pay attention only to those. The price is pretty big (price depends on how many classes you take), you prepay for trimesters. There are classes for all ages (kids, teenagers, adults.) All levels. Males are welcome. They do 2 performances a year. Nutcracker in October/November and an end of the year at the end of the year.

More
I've always been partial to those smaller boutique shops when it comes to buying "high end" electronics. These shops tend to have more knowledgable staff. I ended up buying my first two sets of speakers from them (B&W 600 series and CM, now 700's) as well as my Rotel pre/pro from them. Pricing wasn't the greatest (10% discounted) but I figure with the relationship built there was worth the extra discount (if any) from other places. If you can wait for their annual sales and been a prior customer, you can probably get 15%, maybe 20% on in/over stocked items.
