We've trusted our much-loved cat to Miramonte and Dr. Taylor since he was a kitten and have always found Dr. Taylor and his staff to be caring, competent and professional. Their follow-up is very thorough and everyone at the clinic is very communicative and attentive to concerns. I especially appreciate the availability of Dr. Taylor to do phone appointments at a specific time. Dr. Taylor has helped us navigate some serious health (autoimmmune) problems with our cat and has been responsible for all of the cat's regular care (dental cleanings, etc.), as well as a couple of surgeries. We give Miramonte and Dr. Taylor our highest recommendation.

I took my golden in for a check up and to address some minor things (skin tag on his elbow). They of course found other minor things to charge me for and gave him shots and local anethesia to remove the skin tag. I left him there for the day. The next thing I know, I get a call from the vet (Tim) saying my dog threw up and was lethargic and then right on the call, he said he went into convulsions. By the time I got there, my dog was DEAD! Tim implied that they didn't do anything to cause it and later said my dog had a tumor on his heart that HAPPENED to errupt that day and killed my dog. He kept reiterating "I don't know any reason why it would have happened today??" instead of really saying he was sorry and "maybe" my dog was under stress or something might have been administered wrong. He even got defensive (in my opinion) when I asked him if he double checked the shots to make sure they were the right dosage and medicine. Maybe my dog had a heart tumor, I don't really know, but I'm convinced (in my opinion) that something happened there and if I didn't take my dog there, he would still be alive. Bottom line, I will never use them again.

Dr. Taylor at Miramonte was my cat's first vet, and I really liked him. As a first-time pet owner, I really appreciated his patience in explaining everything about my cat's problems. The rest of the staff, too, were very nice, and the whole place was pleasant and clean. It is conveniently located in a small shopping area, so there is plentiful parking right up front. Most times, there are cats for adoption in the waiting area, and a big resident parrot that loves to greet all visitors.
