Pioneer Waterland & Dry Fun Park In Chardon

Drove a long way and could not get in!! I called as we sat outside of the gate and the lady said "it's supposed to rain so we sent all workers home!!" At noon hour hot and humid!! What a joke!!! more

Since they closed the deep pool with the diving platform, the remaining pool area is VERY crowded and apparently they r doing nothing with that large central area in the water, which is rather odd and sad looking. We were really turned off this year that there are so many smokers. So many people tightly crammed under the few shade trees available and everyone around us was smoking, most of which were putting out the butts on the ground. I also saw lots of people in the picnic area spitting, which is very disgusting when wewe're all walking around in barefeet. Fortunatley the kids don't seem to notice all the rude and disgustingly obese people and the 3 slides they have are a big thrill for the kids. They really should provide more areas of shade, like over the sitting areas/benches by the slides and plant some more shade trees throughout the picnic areas. Another nice touch and wouldn't cost much money would be to have misters to cool off. They need to start putting something back into the waterpark and not just taking away from it or they'll find people will starting staying away. more

Good: I like the fact that it is family fun not just for little kids and not just for teenagers and grown ups.. Bad: I did not like the prices way to much for a snack at the snack bar.. Improvements: I would like to see 1 more water slide the black hole he drag racing slids and the twisty ones are just getting old.. Other: Other then the prices pioneer is a wonderful place.. more

last year we spend many hours at the park wonderful and very nicely maintained !my husband and i and our 4grandchildren the little one cant stop talking about pioneer , but our 8 year old granson wanted diving he never got to dive of off the board and we spent good money for 7 people to join I think one we should have been told no insurance for diving and no floats in the water the children love theire floaties also one of the slides were closed all season ! some how I think pioneer should compansaid for some of the thing that were not their also,they have many schools that come from all over and at times we could not find a picnic table I think their members should have a place to sit and dine but we will be back this year and with the hope of some changes it close to home and well maintained als the lady at the gift shop should be a little nicer to the kids ! after all it is a kid place Thanks a member more

Pioneer Waterland is the premier water park in the Cleveland area. It sports dozens of water activities, including water slides and other types of water rides. This would be an excellent place to take the whole family to cool off on a hot summer day. I hope to visit there again next summer. more

This place is great for everyone in the family. They have water slides, pools and dry attractions for adults and children. They have a playground just for Toddlers and then another one for the older children. They are known for the lazy river which is something the whole family can ride together and relax. The cost of the day is fairly inexpensive compared to other parks and if you buy you tickets online at least 1 day in advance you get an even better discount. more

Pioneer Water Land is a great place to take kids or a group. There are 5 slides, a lazy river, a paddleboat lake, and a large pool. I have never seen it too crowded, so the lines for the slides go fast. The park also has more to offer. There is a beautiful picnic area and there is mini-golf and batting cages included with admission. more

Fun times for the all of the family and friends. If you love the water and swimming this is the place for you. Plenty of places to swim, intertube ride, water slides, paddle boats, put put golf, games, food, picnic areas, plenty of parking, the area is kept clean (at least anytime I've been there it was). Great place to have the kids summer birthday parties. My friends and I have had some great times here. more
