Very nice staff, good food, reasonable prices. We ordered apple pancakes over the phone to be picked up-they take an hour to cook- so the women asked how far away do you live-and then said she'd call when they were about ready so we could get them hot. Kappy's is the kind of neighborhood restaurant where everyone knows everyone. The older clientele have been going there since the turn of the last century, it seems, and somehow the eternally youthful manager knows everyone. It's the kind of place where cakes are on display in a revolving case near the front of the restaurant. My family has always gone to Kappy's Restaurant & Pancake house for breakfast. I love their omlettes. They also have skillets that are excellent. The portions are ample, the service is excellent and the taste of the food is second-to-none. I have eaten dinner here as well. It is not quite as outstanding as the breakfast selections, but the prices are excellent for the portions and quality you get. Breakfast is the biggest time here and it can be very crowded. Be prepared to wait, especially on a Saturday morning.

This pancake house is a great setting for breakfast or brunch with the entire family or with a group of friends. This pancake house is very similar to IHOP, but the food is a lot more wholesome and they have a better selection of menu items to choose from. I like the buttermilk pancakes here because they are alwasy fresh, warm, and really buttery. This family restaurant is very pleasant and you will find the staff here to be very jovial and always upbeat and ready to serve a good meal.

My kids love this place. It is such a nice place to go with the entire family. They have a really good, large menu and its very kid-friendly. Its not too expensive either, so you don't feel bad if your kids don't eat what they order. The service here is also really good. I hate that many restaurants are not welcoming to entire families, but it is not like that here. They welcome the entire family, including the kids and they will do their best to make your experience enjoyable and affordable too.
