Though Dr. Irving Freedman seemed friendly enough, his care was not satisfactory. I and another member of my family visited him several times, and (perhaps it was his aged equipment) was prescribed the wrong strength glasses. Even when I went back to get the lenses changed, he insisted the script was correct. A visit to another doctor confirmed that he had made a significant error. Contacts I purchased from him (purportedly permanent soft lenses) were actually disposables. I would feel very uncomfortable recommending him or sending a loved one to be his patient.
