i have banked with east west for years.
so many years, i cannot even recollect!
i have accounts from when i was a baby even. that's how long my parents have banked with them as well...
they provide decent available hours to visit, always terrific service. althou sometimes it is a little hard to understand certain tellers. it is a chinese bank. but they sure do a lot for your money... deposits.... etc...

they are conveniently located on a large street, with a parking lot and several members to assist you if the one you were used to dealing with was busy.
with real estate services and escrow, you really have to be able to trust them. i do trust these people. they have always been on the up and up with me. that means a lot to me. i really like them if i can count on them... and i do...

but for gerards cleaners, i have gone to them for several years...
i do not mind them being a small local business because i know they do good work and will back it up if i have a problem with how something was done...
and they are very friendly people. always cheerula nd helpful.

my car needed servicing... i took it to kato's automotive repair and mr. kato took care of my cars problems. he was very professional, thorough and caring. he knew i was concerned about cost and took every precaution not to overcharge me and make me buy things and services i couldn't afford.
he is very busy but still manages to return you car to you soon, esp if he knows you need it... he works with your schedule and is very convenient. he is very easy going and not hard to deal with. some meachnics i have come across are very curt, short and too busy. not mr. kato. on occasion when he does have to attend to something else, as is common in this field, he will always be right back.
i highly recommend mr. kato.

This restaurant has great food to chow on. The ordering time is very quick and very delightful. The taste of the food is very juice and flavorful. But what i like most about this Restaurant is the wedding service!!! They Have two rooms so two wedding could be happening at the same time!!! Also they have great selection of wedding food and very tasteful.
P.S. The manager is very nice

Without a doubt, Ynez is one of the finest preschool through 8th grade schools in the Monterey Park area. The teachers there are some of the finest, and the school itself is a great place for learning. It currently offers a GATE program and summer classes, if I recall correctly, which are equally good. It is a public school, therefore there are no costs involved. The summer programs offered are numerous - there probably are a few ones requiring a nominal amount of money, but I do not have experience with those at this school.

This is a small (read: very small) market situated at a nearby strip mall that's on North Lincoln Avenue - although small in size, they do sell many Korean goods here. This wasn't really the main factor in giving this place a perfect rating - the factor here are the incredibly nice cashiers. This place seems to be a family-run place, and it shows - the cashiers are nice, willing to give you tips on shopping, rounds off change - they sometimes even know you by face. Great place to shop around and spend some idle time in. It's great to see a mom-and-pop store still here in this world of franchises and such, really.

My parents took me to New Concept for dim sum the last time I was home and I have to say that it was definately the best dim sum I can remember having. My dad even said he hasn't had such good dim sum since back in Hong Kong. I've never been to Hong Kong, but I have to say this stuff is great. The buns (bao) are really delicate and have great flavor and delicious fillings. The steamed dim sum is also light and not greasy. And unlike most dim sum places, there are no cart so you don't have to sit there stressing out trying to find the dishes you want. You're presented with the menu, you check the plates you want, and they make them fresh in the kitchen for you. A great place.

This is THEE only Shakey's Pizza I enjoy going to. The pizza at other Shakey's tastes different and they don't fully cook their pizza to a crisp like this place. I have been coming to this Shakey's since I was a child it is only about 6 min away from me so I can eat a couple slices then walk it off home. They don't have a very good jukebox the majority is mexican tunes. But this place has such a warm and homely like atmosphere, you should try it if you're in the neighborhood! Invite some friends for pitcher of beer while you can catch the game munching on pizza and mojos... mmm
