The Scene
Patterned after the grand old hotels of an earlier era, this property is both elegant and stylish. Its furnishings showcase 18th-century Chinese and Italian Empire period pieces. Excellent facilities include a European-style day spa. The property is well-situated near Cannery Row, making it a good choice for a luxurious, laid-back getaway.
The Details
Many of the spacious guest rooms feature open-air balconies with sweeping views of the bay. The 10 suites are adorned with Biedermeir-style furnishings. While the tone may be old-fashioned, the details aren't--you can enjoy same-day dry cleaning and a full business center, along with such personal touches as nightly turndown service. All-day dining is offered in two excellent on-site restaurants including the Duck Club which serves, yes, duck.
