This is in the perfect location in Monterey. The walk way takes you straight to the Marina and Cannery Row. The rooms are so lovely and very clean.They have two restaurants inside and a bar. The service staff is excellent.
This is THE hotel to stay in if you are going to stay in the downtown area.

I go to the wharf a lot and i like to try out all the different restaurants and I would like to say that eating at the Sandbar and Grill was a good experience along with all the other great restaurants at the wharf. i think everything on the wharf is EXCELLENT. but eating at the sandbar was delicious. the clam chowder was pretty good and i liked my server, he was really nice. the place is pretty casual and its a good place to stop by for lunch. the wharf is a great place to walk around so dont forget to stop by here!

I am very serious when I say Old Fisherman's Grotto has the best clam chowder I have ever tasted, and I have tasted a lot of chowders. Located on Monterey's fisherman's wharf, they first lured me in with a free sample outside the restaurant. From there, you can either purchase a container to go or sit down in their restaurant for comfortable dining with an ocean view. Their largest order of chowder is served in a giant shell shaped bowl and is definitely a hefty meal on its own. I have never gotten past it to try anything else. If you haven't had enough by then, you can bring a few cans home with you, or order them online later.

We stopped at this place for lunch one day while in Monterey. It's in the Cannery Row district, and it sits right on the water. Our table was next to a window, so we had a fantastic view of the bay. We had calamari as an appetizer, and I think it was the best I ever had. I ordered a grilled salmon sandwich, which was encrusted with black and white sesame seeds and had wasabi mayo and pickled ginger, and was served with perfect garlic fries. The service was impeccable, the food was great, the view was beautiful- this place was absolutely fantastic!

There is no denying the fact that Quiznos subs are not only tasty but healthy, cheap and filling. The place is clean and they make teh sanwiches fresh and toasty. I prefer Quiznos than Subway. Dont ask me why but I think Quiznos makes it better. Quiznos is a little mor eexepsnive than Subway but I still prefer Quiznos for the fact that Quiznos make it right and always have coupons floating around to make the food cheaper

This is a wonderful place to eat if you are visiting Cannery Row! They have the best burgers, calimari and much more. There is a heated out door patio so you can eat outside and enjoy the fresh air. The have a nice kids menu too.
