This is a family favorite. Although we now split meals because there is so much food, we love the calzone on the menu. Josh loves the selection for kids, and all of the desserts are to die for. I always try to make it here at least one time a month as the service and food are great!

If you liked Amori or loved it for that matter. You can get something even better now if you can believe it. Chef Pedro Semintal is now serving up Amore and then some at the new Three C's restaraunt on Huntington Dr. just a few blocks from his old stomping ground. If you haven't yet, go get some.

I love Domenico's. My boyfriend lives in the area and mentioned to me it was a great restaurant so he took me there one day. I ordered the Chicken Picatta and it is just amazing. I love their food and the atmosphere. The people are pretty nice, but the older lady who works as a hostess is kind of rude. The last time I went there which was a few days ago I saw her yelling at one of her workers in a very unprofessional way and I was almost thinking negative but other than that the food is amazing.
Pros: Great food.
Cons: Service, and the hostess lady up at the front. Rude to her employees.

The pizza is great, at first I was skeptical because there is alot of black people in Monrovia. Then I realized it was Hispanic people making pizza, and they really hook it up. Better than Lampost Pizza or any other chains. PIzza is just Phucking good and under $12 bucks on SundaY. Dont be an Idiot and eat Domonios or Pizza Hut, and Lampost. Monrovia Pizza Co is the best. Tell your Grandma to shut up and Order from Morovia Pizza co.

Italian food is one of my favorite kinds of foods! Usually really good Italian comes with a high price tag though. This place is really good and not so expensive. I wouldn't say this place is cheap, but it's definitely not on the high end! My favorite dish is the Shrimp Portofino! I've tried a few other dishes that were also good, but the Shrimp Portofino is my favorite one! I was craving for this when I was pregnant and had it often...my friends said too often... :P
Pros: good food, friendly service, and atmosphere
Cons: there's always a long wait even with reservations

I have been here many times for lunch. The food is really wonderful. The wait staff...very nice. And the owners are warm and sweet and very helpful when it comes to ordering. As a vegetarian I am in heaven here. The food is wonderful. If you are here for lunch, and not sure what to order...because it all looks and sounds wonderful...then I say try the sampler. Enough food for two and really delicious. I always try to order too much so I can take some home with me.

Have been eating here somewhat regularly over the past several years. We have never been disappointed.
Their French Onion soup rocks! Great service, atmosphere and food here. Delicious, freshly baked muffins with breakfast, signature bread basket with carrot raisin loaf and sourdough mini loafs with your lunch or dinner. Great decor, French cottage New Orleans theme. Ate at Mimi's the first time in Arizona before they expanded to California. Now there are a lot more locations in this area. They do get busy at all meal time rush hour, especially on the weekends so be prepared, as you may have some sort of wait before getting seated. But believe me the wait is worth it.

What an amazing experience. The food is wonderful and if you are lucky Mama is in the kitchen. If not that lucky, rest assured they are using her reicpes. The food has changed some over the years when the restaurant changed hands, but nothing was lost...it is just slightly different. The specials are always excellent, the special salad can't be passed up...you can split it!! Bella is certainly a gem in the middle of Monrovia. Indoor dining is nice, but patio seating is my favorite. They have a great wine list. They have top notch wait staff. The owners are very friendly and make a point to talk to each customer. Although it is the perfect place fo a special occasion, it is also a wonderful treat any day of the week.
Pros: Top quality, clean, friendly, and delicious food
Cons: Parking can be an issue on Friday nights

My husband and I have been fans of Rudy's in Monrovia for many years, celebrating various special occasions there with friends and family because we love their food so much! My favorite is their Ropa Vieja ( Shredded, very flavorful beef with peppers~not spicy!) and we both love their Carne Asada with Shrimp Al Mojo de Ajo! (Garlic/Scampi Style Shrimp) You MUST try Rudy's Special Margarita~the BEST and I know margaritas!!!!! Their warm, fresh chips and salsa are terrific (again not spicy but delicious~ you can order hot salsa if you'd like)! I always tell everyone that their food is the closest to my mom's cooking that any Mexican restaurant has come! Authentic, fresh and delicious always! We would eat there everyday if we could! Worth every cent! The service is always great! Very friendly staff! We have never had a bad meal at Rudy's and have been there enough times to have tried MANY of their menu items! This great little family restaurant is within walking distance of a movie theatre! We have invited friends who have driven from as far as Long Beach to join us there a number of times!
Pros: Fresh, authentic food! Friendly, prompt service! Best Cadillac Margarita Ever!!!
Cons: Busy on Friday nights but tells you just how good it is! No other cons!
