Have been there many times. My family went on a Monday afternoon (after checking the website to see if they were open as some restaurants close on Monday) to celebrate my Mother's 72nd B-Day. Website clearly says they open at 11:30 AM. They were closed - no explanation. Some had traveled far to get there. We ended up at Milton Inn. I sent e-mail 2 times to find out what was going on and no response. Apparently they do not care about their customers. Will not be going back for that reason. Would have been OK if they had just sent a response. I didn't want money, just an explanation. Whatever happened to customer service? I have noticed that the reviews are not very favorable on the web lately. So sad.

Was at the Tavern last Friday, and not only did you not have our reservations, which we called to confirm, but the service was horrible!! Waited 40 minutes to get waited on. We complained to the manager, but still had to grab the waitress waiting on the next table to get service. Won't be coming back anytime soon.

ok we were seated at 7:20pm on a saturday there was a family dinner in front of us we ordered within 15min we were ecied it seemed like a great place eventually the familys food came out but in 4 20min increments and half complained of cold food whatever right just cant wait for the food you know wait and wait and wait and an hour and forty minutes later we got it after i went to the waitress and said just give me the check for the drinks were done its 9pm nd we want to go home so it just happened to be ready at that point im never going back the manager heard me complain and i still was billed full price so you know take your chances

I had very high hopes for the Manor Tavern, but I was very disappointed. My rockfish was under cooked, my wife's scallops were nearly raw. The only good part was the pita crab dip that I received. I was there on Friday December 4. Also, I saw the owner very drunk at the bar and stumble home, which made me lose a lot of respect for the Manor Tavern.

We have a wedding event scheduled for this afternoon. As agreed with the event organizer representing the Manor Tavern, by arrangement, my bride to be was to drop off flowers, decorations, etc. the night prior for the event. The evening Manager/Owner Mark did not have time to work with my bride, spoke down to her, left flowers from the florist to be refrigerated including her bouquet and the cake topper out for well over an hour and with his attitude reduced my bride to tears. Unfortunately this treatment cannot be erased and will be a lasting memory of our wedding day at the Manor Tavern. Further, Mark would not talk to his client under contract with the Manor Tavern to calmly resolve the issue shortly after it occurred, I was hung up on. If I treated my clients this way I would lose my job. I can tell you, we are in too deep to pull out of our event the evening before so after today, we will not set foot in the Manor Tavern again. Now if you can plan an event without encounter with Mark the rest of the staff is outstanding and very professional but remember, profit from your event will go into Mark’s pocket and will be a sore spot with me this afternoon when I receive my bill.

this review is about the manor tavern. the restaurant itself was nice, more formal feeling if anything.nothing taste good at all. the only thing my girlfriend enjoys is the maryland fries...... and there most likely out of the freezer. i have never met the owner, i believe his name is mike or mark.... something. But i have seen him before in the restaurant and let me tell you hes a crazy. Very Very vulgar, and rude, i saw him put down more alcohol than costumers put together. I'd rather eat at burger king than here. atleast there food most of the time comes out hot, flavorful. Ohhh and they dont put hollandaise or bernaise on everything, god i hate that they expect everyone to enjoy that nasty stuff.
