I've been going to Big - O since they opened (long time ago). I moved away & when I returned I was soooo happy to find them still there & making their great food, just as I remembered! This is one of those truly great finds and they will not disappoint. Great pizza, AMAZING meatball sandwiches. Best part, to support a small, local "mom & pop" place vs. the big chain place (serving "cardboard" pizza)... Pros: Everything!

I am not a big fan of pizza. I have no trouble turning it down EVER. If it is in the house, and I am starving, I might eat one piece. My brother brought home the Big O Supreme Pizza earlier this summer and I have been hooked ever since. I even eat more than one piece of pizza, just because it tastes so good! It is really the best pizza experience I have ever had. Pros: will appease even the fussiest eaters Cons: you eat more than you intend to!

The same guy has owned Big O for more than 25 years. You can still catch him at the front counter, hand-writing every order and grabbing sandwich and pizza ingredients from the archaic wood freezers and cabinets. I can't say enough about how good the food is, so I just won't say much at all. Get a turkey sandwich (ask for it "hot"), a mini pizza, a Dad's Root Bear and devour the best lunch you'll ever have.
