Tijuana Gillies is the local meeting spot. If you stop in more than once, you will see many of the same people getting together. They have a patio that is generally full. Their Sunday Brunch is very good, they make a decent margarita and Victor, the owner is very generous whenever he is approached about any type of fund raiser.

Don't travel too far to get here, but if you're in the neighborhood and want to try something new, put this down on your list. The mexican food is no better/no worse than any of the other family run Mexican eateries peppering So Cal's vast expanse of strip malls, but it's no dive either. There is a nice neighborhood atmosphere in the place -- especially at the bar, and it is a nice place to have some quality time with your loved ones without having to raise your voice to a shout . Quiet and homey, it's not my favorite, but something about it keeps me coming back.
