aveda institute is a great way of getting "discounted" services from trained aveda-students. all the students are highly-professional and wonderful to work with. they offer everything from massage to facials to haircuts to pedicures. while the time commitment is long (b/c students are learning), you can to commit at least 1+ hour...but it's worth the price! they even offer a little counter for food where you get grab a meal while waiting!

I highly recommend these fine group of people. My family just thinks they are the best. Dr. Guy will make sure you understand exactly what is wrong and the right course of treatment you should pursue. He also makes recommendations. Ask about their family plan, its a very good deal.

From a fantasic salon and spa to Caribou Coffee to just fun women selection items, it's well done with just the right atmosphere. The staff is helpful and the location is very clean.

Todaze hair is absolutly wonderful! The people are very friendly and the hairstylists all seem wonderful, knowledgable and very upbeat on todays styles. I was very happy with the service they provided me and am now a dedicated customer. They treat you to a massaging hair wash and then take the time to listen and work with you on a style that works great for you. The prices are pretty reasonable also. They have a huge line of hair products to buy also, if you are interested. They are very up to date on whats in. I definatly reccommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to get your hair done, or even just a cut.

Golden Nails is a great place to go and treat yourself to a manicure or pedicure. I've been here and had both done and they did a great job with both. They really take their time to make your nails look the best they can. What is really nice is when you get a pedicure they have chairs that massage you while they work on your feet. You have a remote and can control the massage speed. The staff are all extremely friendly. Even if you don't have an appointment, they will work to get you in quickly. The prices are pretty average.

I've been to Expose Nails in the past, but have now found a better place. Expose is a good place to get your nails done, but i wouldn't recommend it for a pedicure if you want pampering. They do a wonderful job on nails and are very friendly. It is easy to make an appointment but sometimes you have a long wait when you get there. The pedicure is basically sitting in the nail chair while they work on your feet with the tray of water. Its nothing pampering like other places that feature the massage chairs and things to make you comfortable. It is an ok place to go, but nothing fancy. Prices are average.

I was definitely not happy with the service. The cut was fine, nothing special, and my stylist barely spoke to me and did not go over what I wanted in a haircut. It was quite an odd experience.

If you are in need of a local cleaner, Nokomis Dry Cleaners is worth a try. Their service and friendly is very good. And their turn time is very prompt. The quality of cleaning though has been up and down, and if I have more time I'll try them again to break them in. The store is far from the cleanest dry cleaner, and this is where they could make an easy improvement. It's not the best impression. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly, which is a rare find.
