Palomino is a very chic, contemporary and romantic restaurant - it is beautiful inside with an atmosphere that is almost intoxicating.
This is a first class establishment, especially if you are there for a dinner or special occasion. The staff provide top-notch service, they are very professional and serve you with style.
To be honest, I have eaten here on many different occasions, and have only had one meal item off the menu; the baked 4-cheese penne.
The penne is served in a round ceramic dish that arrives to your table still sizzling with cheese bubbling. The dish consists of penne noodles, 4 different cheeses and a delicious, zesty sauce. This dish is topped with seasoned bread crumbs that are nice and browned.
After dinner, you have to try a a Latte - their coffee is so rich - the smell alone puts a smile on your face. For dessert, you can't lose with their Tiramisu; it is very moist, rich and delicious and topped with big shavings of chocolate.
The price is fair for the value and experience. If you are planning on a night out, the Palomino is upstairs from the Hard Rock Cafe and in the same building as the State Theatre and across the street from Gameworks.

Saint Sabrinas Parlor In Purgatory - what a great name, for a great place to go if you're serious about your piercings or tats. They don't hold any stops at St. Sabrina's and make sure that that is communicated up front. That's what makes them one of the safest, most reliable and reputable tat & piercing parlors in Minnesota.
The staff at St. Sabrinas seems to believe that the choices they've made in expressing their art through their bodies are not just an expression but a lifestyle. That belief will carry over to their customers as they inform & equip you to make the safest and most informed choices you can about your body & how you want to express yourself on it.
When I went in to get my labret pierced, about 4 months ago, the staff person made sure I knew thoroughly how the procedure was performed, what it would feel like, what I could expect in the hours, days & weeks to come, how to care & clean for it, and which stud would be the best for me, at which point in time.
This is the place to go if you're interested in a tat or piercing, or just want a safe, clean and reputable place to get your next one done at.

The ambience is cool but the food is delicious. I really like the burger/fries, the beef sandwich, the guacamole, the breakfast with the bloody mary and huge pastry. What else? My review isn't very excited but this place rules!

We happened upon this place by accident - had heard of it but weren't planning to go - on an off night (Wednesday). First and foremost, the service was great. Not snobbish while not fake as happens all too often. I always feel uncomfortable when the wait staff kisses up. Our waiter was very down-to-earth and knowledgeable. The wine list appeared to have a number of reasonably-priced wines - we found something very nice without having to splurge. Our salad and entrees were wonderful - great attention to detail and all flavors worked remarkably well together. For the record, we had the butter lettuce salad, roasted butternut squash agnolotti and the stuffed trout (onion, mushroom and bacon), and were treated with a free taste of the fries with paprika and aioli, which were outstanding as well. All in all, this is probably the overall best restaurant experince we've had in some time, and I'm frankly surprised that I'm saying that as we've had a lot of great experiences (and some not so great!). Go here. Eat well. Be happy.
Pros: Great service, fantastic food
Cons: None

I wish reviewers would get their restaurants correct. We're talking about KinhDo and not TanhDo. There's another restaurant named ThanhDo that I've been to once and that was one too many IMO!
As my headline eludes to KinhDo is amazing. I love their Pad Thai, and their Egg Rolls are a must. My wife and I used to dine there several times a month until we moved out of the neighborhood. It's a long drive for us now - Rochester - but, it's well worth it. Writing this review is starting up my cravings. I guess we'll be going there tomorrow!
Pros: Friendly wait staff and great food
Cons: Too far away

Jutt Downtown has been my salonspa for two years. Typical I get my haircut by Pearson K. He has great skills {even works at NYC Fashion weeks every year} and looks good using them. I have really thick and course hair, so it is hard to find a stylist. He does an amazing job and listens well sometimes.
I have also gotten mani/pedis, facials and massages there and they were all wonderful. The front desk staff seem overworked or just senseless.
Pros: Atmosphere, Stylist's talent, and Location
Cons: Price and front desk staff

I've never actually eaten the food at Brits - I mean come on, it's Brittish food. But Brits is one of the most fun places in the city, to just hang out & enjoy a pint with friends.
During the summer, it's all about the second level, which in addition to lawn bowling (yeah!) offers great views of downtown, a super fun, young crowd, and a beautiful breezy patio.
Also, in August there are movies up on the roof (2nd level), every Thursday (?) night. They show films that are either Brittish, or have something to do with England - like Love Actually, Harry Potter & Notting Hill. Nothing is more fun than enjoying a late summer evening, with a pint of beer & your friends, hanging out at Brits

I went to Joe's Garage with my girlfriend Mary last week. We were thoroughly impressed with the atmosphere and food. We asked the waitress to keep our entree's greasy (so that they would go down easy) and she happily obliged. Later in the evening we met our friend Sy, and although he loved the food, he had an adverse reaction to a glass of lemonade. In all I would recommend Joe's Garage. You'll love it...it's a way of life!

YUMMMMM.....Black Forest Inn! Black Forest Inn is a wonderful German restaurant located on "Eat Street" in Minneapolis. This restaurant has the best German food, that will fill you up! The food is very heavy, but delicious. My favorite is a stew made of sticky pasta and beef. The restaurant has a full service bar and inside seating, but also has a delightful patio in the back. It is intimate and perfect for summer dining.

I was invited to review this restaurant again. I have not found a Chinese restaurant in the Twin Cities area that is better than this one. When I take a trip to the cities now, I have a very hard time trying a new restaurant in fear that they will not be as good as the Hong Kong Noodle, and ruin my trip/waste my time and money. If you want a sure thing go to the Hong Kong Noodle. There are so many menu items that you can try something different every time.
