When work sends me to Minneapolis, I am always fine with it. I love this airport. In case you do not know, they have an entire mall within their walls, with multiple restaurants. It feels new and clean, which adds to the comfort of the place. In comparison to some others, like mIdway, it stands head and shoulders above. Dont fret if you have a layover here. Look forward to it.

We have not been happy with the Americinn in Mounds View. On one occasion the faucet would not work. We went as far as talking to the manager and she said "sorry, we can't get someone here til Monday what do you want me to do about it". We were so disappointed. We were paying 100 dollars for a hotel room but could not even brush our teeth. Then on our most recent occasion we found we had to pay to use the pool. And on top of that the times the pool and slide are open are ridiculous. The rules are not very thoughtful. Noone under 5 can go on the slide. Try to tell a 4 year old that one!
Never again!
