Saint Sabrinas Parlor In Purgatory - what a great name, for a great place to go if you're serious about your piercings or tats. When I went in to get my labret pierced, about 4 months ago, the staff person made sure I knew thoroughly how the procedure was performed, what it would feel like, what I could expect in the hours, days & weeks to come, how to care & clean for it, and which stud would be the best for me, at which point in time.

Twin City Tattoo is the new and much improved Yurkew.
Dave Yurkew, Mikes father and founder, opened Tattooing by Yurkew in the late 70's, did alot for the industry of tattooing, but at the same time through the years there has been a few less than desirable "artist" employed at this local.
Nowadays Mike, Eric, Jessica and Levi, in my opinion, are taking great care to improve the unfortunate shadow cast upon the Minneapolis community.
Each artist, diverse in their respected field, to me seems competent, friendly and down to earth. No rock stars, just good work, clean environment, modern facilities at a fair price.

Captive elements is a bit off- putting at first, its kind of dingy looking. Not decorated well. Certainly not the place a bored society girl would come to get a piercing done. But looks are deceiving, they do good work. They are knowledgable about what they do and will help you pick the look your want. Prices are reasonable and you can always find good deals on the jewelry. IF you want some good work , come here.

Not flashy, but a clean place with good atmosphere. Matt rocked on the tattoo. He was cool about all our questions too. Price was also great. We have a couple more tats we are planning to get there soon.
