A friend introduced me to United Noodles, and I loved it. I can honestly say it's the best Asian grocery store I've been to here in the Midwest. It's clean, well-organized, and has a great selection. You can get dried/canned foods as well as fresh meat/fish, veggies, and frozen foods. They also have cookies, teas, and a gifts section.Prices are also really decent. The only issue is finding it. It's not in a very busy area, so you would have to get directions.

I buy most of my Asian and non-Asian produce at United Noodles, because the prices are so much better than the big chains. In the past few years, Noodles has added a video store (most of choices don’t have English subtitles) and a Chinese medical clinic.
Non-perishable items are separated by region of origin. The produce at United Noodles is great. The store features the best herbs and greens in town.

United Noodle has practically any ingredient you could possibly need for any Asian (or Asian inspired) dish you would like to prepare.
Unlike most Asian grocers I have been to in the past, they carry a variety of bulk Indian Spices too, and all are very reasonably priced.
They have a good selection of prepared food as well, including yummy Vietnamese sandwiches and fresh spring rolls.
The produce section is excellent, and the fish section is pretty decent too. If homemade Sushi is on your menu, make sure to stop next door at Coastal Seafoods, for some of the freshest fish in town.

This is easily the best asian grocery store in the twin cities. It is the only one which has any selection of Japanese food to speak of, and it has a pretty good one at that. It has been expanding recently and now has a Japanese video store, a eastern medicine shop, and a prepared food counter. It's always clean and doesn't stink, and it's getting better all the time.

THere are lots of Asian food store sin the Twin cities that I know of but this is the best. Its clean, big and has most everything you would need. from cabbage and vegetables to cow livers and stomachs. Now there is even a section for hot asian sidedishes and asian dvd and vcd's. Good place to find some exotic foods and there are always great deals on the bargains table. THis is a great place to shop for asian goods.
