I know, it sounds like an oxymoron, but it is true. Most restaurants serving Asian cuisine fall sadly below par; this restaurant, however, is an exception! They offer a variety of Thai, Vietnamese, Thai and other types of Oreintal dishes. My personal favorite is the coconut milk curry--of course, you can never go wrong with coconut milk in anything and the curry makes it extra tasty! Big Bowl also offers both mild and spicy food, to please any palate! The stir-fry bar is one of my favorite options, allowing you to mix and pick your own ingredients for a customized dish that will be sure to please.

Big Bowl Asian restaurant is definitely an Americanized Asian restaurant. But that doesn't stop them from having some great Asian food, including Chinese, Thai & spicy dishes too. They have a great drink selection, consistant quality & menu, delicious tasting dishes, including a make it yourself stir fry bar, large portions and good service. One to note, their Singapore Sling is pretty good as is their Coconut Milk Curry.

chain restaurant. The food here is way too americanized. I don't think any asian should eat there. there are still many good chinese restaurant in minneapolis, so don't waste your time and money here. the only thing that impressed me is the decors of this restaurant.
