Pretentious staff that couldnt care less about the customers, long waits for food, drinks or anything similar to service and a Manager who will tell you to "Leave and Dont Come back" if you dont like being treated like dirt and then smile at you and tell you that your conversation is OVER! Then walk away... AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs... seriously go anywhere else or even stay home.

I've heard great things about this place, but went on an off peak day/time and will never return. Diapers on the dirty bathroom floor, poor service, and the food was AWFUL (I'm talking stale bread, gross lettuce, sketchy meat)!! Even worse, management didn't even apologize when we spoke to them! I will never go here again.

I LOVE breakfast. My friends and I go out to brunch every week. I am probably the more adventurous one in the group and when I heard about Hell's Kitchen (and saw the menu), I decided we had to try it. We order a lot of different items as we had never been there before. The caramel rolls are a little bit of heaven - comparable to those my grandma makes, which is saying something! The Mahnomin pudding is awesome - creamy, fruity, nutty...just delicious. I loved the rosti potatoes as well - a nice update to hashbrowns. My main entree was the lemon ricotta pancakes. They were delicious, but a little too sweet for me after all that other stuff! Overall, everything was delicious, they have great coffee (bonus points for that!) and the place has a fun atmosphere. The only downside is the cost (thanks downtown tax) and that you have to shell out $5 additional for parking. It is absolutely worth the trip though. Don't forget to make reservations!

A great place for weekend brunch and famous for the Mahnomin porridge ($7.00), an earthy stew of wild rice, dried blueberries, roasted hazelnuts, fresh maple syrup and whole cream. Also there, a breakfast bruschetta made with walnut bread and the lemon-ricotta hotcakes are dynamite. The huevos rancheros ($10.00) with bacon, onion, black beans, and fresh salsa and eggy breakfast stir-fry piled high is enough to feed two. But the extras kind of make the place and that is homemade marmalade and ginger-berry preserves; an amazing peanut butter that the kitchen roasts its own peanuts and then coarse-grinds them with a bit of honey and brown sugar. A walleye BLT dusted with cornmeal for lunch? The best way to do Hell's Kitchen is get a couple and order various dishes to taste and share. The chef Mitch Omer calls his food a new take on Native American food.

one of the best breakfast places in minneapolis -- where else can you get breakfast served to you in pajamas? it's as close as you get to breakfast in bed. hell's kitchen has great homemake relishes, jams, salsas, etc that they provide on each table. strong, slightly bitter coffee for you coffee-drinkers. long, long waits on the weekend, but the best thing is that they actually take reservations! a fun place to take out-of-towners for a cool breakfast experience. fast service. the bad news: no parking around there, and you have to pay to park in the lot next door!
