I planned the afternoon portion of a bachelorette party here, and it couldn't have been more perfect. We started out by making a reservation for one of the croquet greens. It was easy and the people working were so nice. Then we had a picnic lunch by the lake. It was a gorgeous day and there were plenty of people around to look at, and even a wedding to view. After our lunch, we packed everything up and brought it back to the car, because parking was so convenient. After that, we walked a path over to the croquet green, got our mallets and a copy of the rules, then played croquet for an hour. It was so much fun and so easy and relaxed, it could not have been better. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect for a relaxing afternoon before a crazy night!

Ok, I've never had a leech on me before in my life. And it serves me right for getting one the first time I went to Minnehaha Falls. Because you're not supposed to climb down into the falls, or back behind the gates. But we did. And it was so worth it.
I'm not from around here, and have been amazed & impressed by the beauty of MN. Minnehaha Falls is a place, right here in the city, that you can experience that beauty.
The falls roar & echo with the sound of rushing water, and the sights of so much greenery & lush beauty is inescapable.
For just a picnic, or a hike, or to find some leech's give a day's worth of attention to Minnehaha Falls.

This is a very nice theater. It is central to many of the northern suburbs. It is always very clean and well kept. There are always a wide variety of movies playing. It has comfortable stadium seating. They offer free refills on some concessions. Their prices are comparable to other theaters. We think this is a great place to go to watch movies!

I was having a hard time finding a certain type of soil. I didn't want to pay the big bucks at Bachmans, and I also didn't want to drive out that far. Minnehaha Nursery helped me out tremendously and had great service to boot! It was a competitive price to what I might pay at Home Depot, etc. I stopped on a whim and now I'll be going back.

I enjoy Kenwood Park for its majestic old trees, and variety of recreation spaces. From the tennis courts, to the baseball diamonds, to the jungle gym for kids, this park has many options. A great way to keep the kids entertained. The people-watching is also fun on the weekends, with soccer games, frisbee-chasing dogs, and people of all ages enjoying the space.

What a perfect location for a mall. Before I lived in Minneapolis I would stop at City Center for some quality shopping. Then all of a sudden the tenant list went from Express Mens and Lane Bryant and tons of other great national stores to a Payless Shoes and two bad service Starbucks and more empty storefronts than you would believe. The fact the the bus lines for the quickly deteriorating north Minneapolis put shady people around the mall entrances now don't help much. It is the best food court downtown though, and the new remodel looks to be quite the thing to bring it back to what it used to be and then some.
