I don't see why someone has a problem reading a credit card number to someone who does nothing more than enter it directly into a computer system (FoodTec Pizza Director or, in the case of the original downtown location, Aloha TableService Point-of-Sale), which immediately obscures all but the last four digits as soon as the order taker hits "enter" on the touchscreen.
The one and only guy in 13 years who was caught adding his own tip to a credit card order was fired the second a customer complained of being overcharged.
If you're still not cool giving the credit card over the phone, then OK, pay cash, or write a check and pay more to the guy who gets screwed with check fraud a dozen times per week.
(And yes, Lake Harriet Pizza is also superb!)

What's not to like? If you live anywhere near 50th & Penn, and like traditional-crust pizza, you have to try this spot out. No web site, but they're order line is 612-920-7717.
