Looking for a nice greasy hamburger and a local small-town-type bar to hang out at in Minneapolis, Bunny's might be your destination. Sports on the TV sets, popcorn just an arms length away, this is a nice, laid back bar. It's nice not having to smell like smoke leaving a place like this anymore! They have sweet outdoor seating in the summer, great bloody mary's, and sufficient service. This is a nice clean dive bar options! Nice local hot spot for laid back beer drinkin fun!

I now have a new favorite thing to do on Monday nights - go to Bunker's and listen to some incredible live music. Friends have been telling me about this music hot spot for some time, but I finally went this past Monday. My friend and I paid the five dollar cover and then grabbed a stool at the bar. A quick glance around showed a broad mix of people (think musician types, suburban housewives, bar industry types, college kids, etc.) who were all there to listen to some of the best funk/r&b around. The group was called The Combo and they've been playing this same gig for over ten years - and once they started playing you knew why. They were incredible! People started dancing and by their second set the entire bar was packed (on a Monday night, no less). They covered diverse music from Chaka Khan to David Bowie to originals, and rocked every single tune. I'm sorry I didn't go see them sooner, but there's nothing like making up for lost time.

My favorite thing about France 44 is the ability to buy Celeste Chocolat Truffles! If you've never tasted Mary Leonard's truffles, you absolutely must put it on your to-do list to go out and buy today and savor the flavor. They are pricey, but the flavor is worth every penny.
France 44 is also a great location for wonderful wines and cheeses. They are sooooooo helpful when trying to pick out the perfect hostess gift, perfect wine to go with certain food choice.
France 44 is new, clean, pretty, and a nice choice if you need to pick up something special and/or if you want to treat yourself to the perfect little something!

One of the best Liquor stores I have been in, and trust me I have been in plenty. Great wine selection and the sales staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Craft beers abound in this place with something for everyones tastebuds. Three chheers for this place.

Lowry Hill has a great neighborhood-y laidback feel, but its wine selection is decent despite stores size (not the case for beer though, in my opinion). Employees are usually helpful if you need just a couple of bottles of wine, or the owner will help you if you are planning a party and need a few cases just call him and catch him in the afternoon, he knows his stuff. Lowry Hill is one of the few liquor stores I like (as a wine drinker).

The location is small, the selection shallow, yet Hum's will always carry a special place in the hearts of many that grew up in the South Minneapolis neighborhood. Maybe it was the central location on Hennepin, or the cool retro modern neon signage, or more likely the fact that they delivered pretty much anything you wanted, anytime of day.

Best produce, butcher shop, and deli you can find. The service is always great and the stores are so well laid out to find everything you may be looking for. The adjacent wine shop makes it easy and convenient to pick up whatever you need to accompany the meal.
