Room and Board

My husband and I live in South Dakota and have purchased from Room & Board on two different occasions and both times we've been extremely happy. We usually place our order on www.roomandboard.com and always receive a phone call from their customer service within minutes to confirm our order and ship date. Delivery is always prompt and professional (and affordable at $199 considering it's coming from four hours away!). The furniture is high quality, usually stain resistant (it has to hold up to five dogs) and more stylish than anything we'd be able to find locally. Our most recent purchase was delivered just yesterday and I received an email within a few hours from Room & Board Minneapolis wanting to make sure everything went well and we were enjoying our new couch. I will not hesitate to recommend Room & Board to everyone I can! more

We bought furniture from Room & Board and are very pleased. The service was excellent. They have nice, simple furniture, reasonable prices, and high quality. If you are looking for furniture a lot nicer than Ikea, for a price a lot lower than Del Teet, this is the place for you. (I mention Del Teet because that expensive Bellevue store and Room & Board were the only only places I found nice, small-scale furniture) Room & Board does not have a store in Seattle. If you are ordering multiple pieces of furniture, you can actually save money that way. On our order, the shipping cost was less than the taxes would have been. They charge $200 to deliver your whole order - regardless of how much you order. more

This is a nice place for stylish and functional furniture. They are well known store and have good quality pieces at reasonable prices. I am particularly fond of their outlet that is open on the weekends only. They carry special order returns, overstocks and slightly damaged pieces at reduced prices. The stock changes weekly and they are only open on Saturdays and Sundays so get there early for the best selection. more

Room and Board is my absolute favorite furniture store. They have a wide selection of many modern and classic pieces. Their modern furntiture is actually nice and not super cheesy like most places. Room and Board is expensive, so check out their outlet in Golden Valley. Their stuff is high quality and will last a long time. They have somethign for everyone there. Two Thumbs UP! more
