They have a pretty big selection of gifts and other goods. This is also a good place to find unique Christmas ornaments. They have ones that you can't find anywhere else. It stands conveniently next to Sebastian Joe's Ice Cream and announces your entrance to Uptown Minneapolis as you drive south on Hennepin Avenue. The store is cluttered with items, but in a quaint little shop kind of way. They carry everything from greeting cards, to gourmet soaps, to jewelry, and kitschy stuff. It's the kind of store that if you wander in off the street, you're probably guaranteed to find something that tickles your fancy.

Aside from being fun, and funky, Patina has great gifts. I appreciate the range of gift ideas. I find it particularly helpful when shopping for people who "have everything" or for people I don't know as well. Gifts range from fun kid toys to more sophisticated items for adults--both men and women.
A tip:
The selection of items is constantly changing, so if you visit, and see something you like, buy it then. I have learned this painful lesson--if you wait to buy it later, it may not be there.

Patina is one of the best places to shop gifts, cards, trinkets, etc. We mostly shop at the 50th Avenue location. All are more or less the same and all are great. The service level is always consistent and friendly. And the product selection is always fun. No matter what the mood is I go in with, there is always plenty of items in the store to make you smile.
