This store is great. I have always had the MOST PLEASANT dealings with everyone that works there. I think some of the other reviewers are exaggerating or have some other kind of grudge to bear which I can't understand because I have been going there for years and everyone is always friendly.
The merchandise is great---furniture, accessories, cards and it is always fun to go in and see what is new because the owner does a great job of updating the stock with new trend merchandise from the gift shows. Go to go Home!! You'll be glad you did.

I have been going to Burch for like 8 years now and even though I don't live in the neighborhood anymore, I still cross town to fill prescriptions and peruse the gifts and all that line the shelves. I definitely recommend Burch to anyone. The only drawback is that, because they are a smaller business there Rx's are a little more expensive then your evil type giant stores (but that wouldn't matter to those with insurance)

My favorite thing about France 44 is the ability to buy Celeste Chocolat Truffles! If you've never tasted Mary Leonard's truffles, you absolutely must put it on your to-do list to go out and buy today and savor the flavor. They are pricey, but the flavor is worth every penny.
France 44 is also a great location for wonderful wines and cheeses. They are sooooooo helpful when trying to pick out the perfect hostess gift, perfect wine to go with certain food choice.
France 44 is new, clean, pretty, and a nice choice if you need to pick up something special and/or if you want to treat yourself to the perfect little something!

I can always find cute little items at Patina. You can also find good clearance items certain times of the year. I like to go there at least once a season. Patina really knows how to customize their merchandise depending on the season or holiday. They also carry funky jewelry, cards and miscellaneous gifts.

The other day, I walked into Global Village, and the smell of incense and the beautiful scarves and artifacts on the walls immediately made me feel as if I had stepped out of the United States and into an exotic country. Or, more like a mix of exotic countries.
I was greeted very warmly by the two girls working; they were very attentive, yet not over-bearing. They took my bag, which surprised me at first but then I realized that it is for safety, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one who had their bag checked in.
Overall, I would give this an A. I didn't drive there, so I don't know about the parking situation; I would recommend parking a couple of blocks away, where there is more parking available, and simply walking down the block that Global Village is on - there are many great places that I'd never even heard of, and it was fun to discover.

If you are looking for really cool shoes, boots, clogs or sandals this is the place. The staff is so helpful and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. I love that Heavenly Soles allows their staff to have piercings and tattoos which makes me want to buy their more than at other stuffy chain stores or malls.
I have over 150 pairs of boots and shoes and more than a few came from Heavenly Soles. I consider myself somewhat of an expert when it comes to shoe and boot fashion and am very critical of most stores and the staff that work in them. Heavenly Soles is the best I have ever seen and I hope they don't change and get all conservative.
Pros: The staff is adventurous enough to help you find that cool pair of shoes and boots and not let you get conservative.

Great place for party supplies and holiday ideas. Not a shortage of creativity. Plenty of things to look at and get ideas from. Great for weddings, too. The mylar balloons hold their helium for an extremely long time. That made my 2-year-old very happy! Great for the off-holiday parties too - President's day, luas for barbeques, etc. Knowledgeable staff and great Halloween costumes.
