If you like wine even a little, this is a place worth checking out. Wine can be purchased in flights, which are basically sets of four 2 ounce glasses of wine varieties such as four Chardonnays, wines of South Africa, etc. They are served with a note sheet, so you can jot down your thoughts on each so you know what to buy or avoid the next time you want to bring a truly great bottle of wine to a friend's house.
Wine is also served by the glass, and they have a large beer selection as well.
As food goes, the menu is limited, but the food is memorable. Individual pizzas with great cheeses, cheese or pate appetizers, and incredible deserts all complement the wine well. They have a shared entrance with the coffee shop of the same name, so ordering up a post-wine espresso can be done too.
Outdoor seating is available. Indoors has a bar and small tables to sit at, so it's much easier to do in groups of 4 or less unless you're able to secure an outdoor table.

Sandee's restaurant was fabulous! The menu ranges from Steak to seafood to half a chicken. Everything we have tried was absolutely wonderful. I must say one of my favorites so far has been the Fried stuffed shrimp. The food has always been wonderful & the waitresses are always friendly. There is a dining room, a bar room & even an outdoor patio to dine in. When you are seated you are immediately served a basket of different crackers and cheese spread. This is a wonderful family owned restaurant and definitely gets all 5 stars from me. Definitely a nice steak/seafood place to take the family. The prices are very reasonable also.

A lot of people don't know about Infinity, but it's a great lounge. It is in the Graves Hotel DT, and does not have a cover. Live DJs play electronic and dance music and the decor is fabulous. It's not your typical overcrowded lounge with everyone grinding. They have expensive martinis, but the best you'll have in the city.

To anyone reading this, I strongly recommend a trip to the Minneapolis Farmers Market. I've learned so much from the growers and have enjoyed so many great fruits and vegetable. The spring time locally grown asparagus is the best I've ever eaten. The berries in June are so flavorful that I wait only them each year. On Saturday mornings the market has a 'Market Talk' series with chefs and growers teaching us how to prepare different vegetables, herbs and meats. Letting us customers sample it first hand plus take home the recipe. The variety in produce is fabulous and so are the prices. I just can't wait until it opens again for the season. My first trip will be for the plants I will buy for my little garden and my deck. I have found that the locally grown plants last all season long. I found out there are over 200 local growers that bring in their produce and its pick just hours before they get there. By the taste of the items I have purchased I have to agree, the freshness is really there.

If you are looking for a butcher, try Everett's! They have fresh meat, and a real butchers. They have the best beef jerky around! My husband is a beef jerky fanatic and he LOVES the beef jerky from Everetts. They also have groceries, but not as much as a regular grocery store. They can cover the basics, though.

When I worked downtown - I would frequent Eddington's for breakfast many days of the week. Their breakfast wraps are to die for! I have been very tempted to go downtown for breakfast many times since my office moved out of downtown.
Not only is their breakfast yummy - they have awesome soups and sandwiches! All the locations have soups and sandwiches - not all of them have breakfast.
My favorites are the Wisconsin Cheese soup - mmm...cheese! I also love the cucumber cream cheese sandwich - it is very refreshing and delicious!

Get just about any random food import grocery item you can think of and more! Unless it's Sunday, you can fill all your obscure ingredient needs in one quick trip. Never seen so many kinds of fresh feta. Bone up on your willingness to buy items without knowing exactly what they are as there are many products without a lick of english on them....it's like a cracker jack box that way! I stop by Bill's every time I go near that area of town just to see what crazy stuff they've got now. Oh, the bulk olive oil selection is unbelievable.

Boba cafe has great food. They even bring out a free appetizer while you wait for your food. The service is fast as well. Prices are average for this type of restaurant. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. They even have a band playing on certain days of the week. The restaurant itself is extremely clean and well maintained.
