Open Arms is a terrific daycare/preschool for your little ones. It's a small center affiliated with Holy Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The teachers are all very caring and provide great activities for the kids. There is a good mix of active play and educational time, as well as chapel time at Holy Emmanuel. Open Arms definitely has a community feel and your children will feel well cared for here.

I looked long and hard to find a good quality daycare for my daughter.Actually,I was referred to her from the YWCA.Every time my daughter would go to a different daycare she would cry when I had to go to work.Well,at this Daycare she didn't want to leave. That gave the peice of mind that she was being well taken care of and absolutelly loved it there. It's awesome there. They even taught my daughter Spanish.I would definatelly recommend Fun and friends before and after school Daycare to anyone. They're not really expensive either. She's definatelly not just doing it for the money. She definatelly enjoys children.

My daughter goes to LIttle Hands. I love that Jennifer has a certification to teach Montessori and not just a 4 week training class. Jennifer gives a great education and I love the daycare setting and daycare price.
Pros: Great Education

More
I also worked at a New Horizon Childcare for awhile and than quit...there mission statement is nothing like it really is. I have five years of childcare experience and this blew me away. The children are tossed from room to room because they "over book" the children for the classroom they are suppose to be in. They have no biting policy which is awful considering other children and staff are getting injured. For calling in sick, you have to go to work (spreading your germs around) until they find a replacement for you...does not make much sense. There is no communication between directors and staff. Over all it is a business, money making only, no one cares about the true reason you are in childcare, for the children. I would NOT suggest sending your child to a corporate childcare/preschool. Find one with small class sizes (not 24 toddlers to a room), and FRIENDLY staff who have been there a long time or are well trained. New Horizon is known for not keeping its staff long, and well its very apparent why.
