As my headline eludes to KinhDo is amazing. I love their Pad Thai, and their Egg Rolls are a must. My wife and I used to dine there several times a month until we moved out of the neighborhood. It's a long drive for us now - Rochester - but, it's well worth it. Writing this review is starting up my cravings. I guess we'll be going there tomorrow!
Pros: Friendly wait staff and great food
Cons: Too far away

My boyfriend and I used to LOVE TanhDo. Over time the quality really went down hill. The food often looks like it has been sitting out all day and if you order take out-check it before you leave because they tend to give you only half an order and pick out all the good stuff. I have to agree with hry85 about the sauce. It is totally ketchup,soy/oyster sauce and water! eeew. On a recent visit our server added a 20% gratuity to our table of two without telling us. I feel like this was totally a sneaky attempt at getting a double tip. That is SO wrong. So watch out, if you do go here add up your bill before you pay!!! Overall though I say it's not even worth your money.
Pros: convenient location
Cons: sneaky servers

Service was so-so, egg rolls okay but not worth the price. I ordered sweet & sour chicken and was unpleasantly surprised to find the sauce tasted like watery ketchup. Chicken pieces were also too doughy. My girlfriend ordered a shrimp and cashew dish and was quite ill the next day.
Pros: ok egg rolls, unappetizing entrees
Cons: What are the drawbacks?

This is my favorite restaurant when it comes to wanting some good quality pad thai. When I use to live in MN I was a regular customer here and always order the same thing; combination pad thai extra spicy...if you think you had good pad thai, its nothing until you try theirs....
They have a friendly staff and also have done a lot of remodeling to the place in the last few years.....its very cozy in there and I do agree with someone else comment that this is one of the best kept secret restaurant in MN. Go try it! You won't be disappointed...
Pros: Quality stir fry dishes and pad thai is awesome!
Cons: Not the place to go if you just want a bowl of pho, its only decent here.

I saw an average review for Kinhdo, and I had to protest. This place is one of the best kept secrets of the cities that's right in front of everyone's nose. Although the decor and exterior aren't quite as glitzy as some places down the street and the cuisine doesn't have the cute dollop of brie cream garnished with frisee that you find downtown, the food is so fresh and fantastic, that you'll be surprised the bill is half of what you'd spend someplace fancier. Portions are hearty, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is warm and prompt. The menu may seem run-of-the-mill, but the selection is large, and the food you get has a unique characteristic that separates it from King "Stuff your face with wantons in the mall." The flavors are distinct with spices neatly proportioned and a strong sense of fresh herbs. I've eaten at my fair share of East Asian places, and the food at Kinhdo can match wits with some of the more "designer" destination restaurants. Definitely try thier curry dishes. They boast a good kick without sending smoke out your ears. Thier egg-rolls are wrapped in an unusually crisp and flaky shell and sport a zesty fish sauce. The soup is a bit mediocre. Good veggie options. Not quite the place to go for your diamond jubilee, but certainly a thrifty yet smart restaurant that should impress the most discerning guest, unless they're more concerned about the diamonds on the soles of their shoes than the food.
Pros: Great food, Reasonable Price, Versatile - not formal but smart
Cons: No delivery, Exterior not spectacular, Menu is diverse, but nothing exotic

The title describes it. Food here is average with their menu ranging between Vietnamese and American-Chinese. If you're not discriminating and just hungry for something other than burgers n fries, than this is a decent place. If you're hunting for genuine Asian cuisine, go somewhere else. On the bright side, prices are decent and servings are generous.
Pros: Prices, serving sizes, wait times
Cons: nothing to distinguish itself from the other dime-a-dozen Asian places around town

Kinh Do has been my favorite asian restaurant since I was 6 years old. I grew up eating the sauteed beef with potatos. If you have kids, they will probably love it...just remember to hold the onions. That is still my favorite dish to get their. They really do have the best egg rolls I've ever tasted and I love their fish sauce...I've tried to make it at home but I never get it just right. The egg rolls over rice noodle is also fabulous and priced under $7. Kinh Do has a huge menu to suit everyone's needs from the young to the old to vegetarian. The price is right, I'm always seated promptly and treated courteously.
Pros: fresh and tasty food
Cons: none
