Starters
The Brie wedge was extremely tiny, good but way to small for the price.
The onion rings were large and cooked perfectly but bland, no flavor.
Entrées
The only special was a Salad consumer said it was OK nothing special.
Meat Loaf was a funny pink color and was over cooked, dry and full of filler.
Philly cheese steak was good.
The post roast was tasty but the Portion was very small. Must have been the last order of the night, three little chunks of potato and under cooked carrots and raw onions.
Meat good veg not so good.
Bottom line is if you charging the prices there charging the food and service best be top of the line.
I give this place a 2 out of 5.
Pros: Drinks
Cons: Food Bland and Boring

Went on a Sat. night, place was packed, this was around 6:45, within 30 min the place started to clear out. It took 20 minutes to be seated and after that over another hour and fifteen minutes to be served, by the time we were served the place was pretty empty. We were told 3 different times our food would be out in 2 -3 minutes. I honestly thought our order was lost but then when it came time to pay the bill it took 15 minutes after we HAD TO ASK, for the bill to get it. We were ready to walk out and see if someone noticed. It then took another 10 minutes to get my card back. Food was just ok and not worth all the wasted time and the noise you had to shout over to hear someone next to you.
Pros: Food pretty good
Cons: Service was way too slow

Went on a weekday evening with a larger group. The bar was almost full, and the dining room was about %40 full - and contrary to some of the posts here, the service was fine throughout. The food was very good - had the simple pan-fried chicken which I wasn't expecting too much from, but was perfectly and I mean perfectly cooked. In our group the burgers and pulled pork were also hits. But taking the cake for me was the Frickles (fried pickles). I don't really like pickles, so for me to like this dish was a huge surprise.
Bottom line: give the place a try, you might be surprised too.
Pros: Great spin on diner food. Try the Frickles!
Cons: "Adult" malts are hit-or-miss.

We visited your diner for the first time last night, for my daughters birthday who turned 22. Upon entering we were unsure how your method of seating was implemented, who to talk to; where to find the list. Until we were yelled at by a gentlemen(and I use that word loosely) behind the bar, whose interaction with us was rude, he abruptly hailed us down before we walked to far into the diner, said he was busy but would get to us. Then I made the mistake of saying we had made a "reservation", he quickly quipped that "we don't take reservations" we did "call ahead" though because we had a party of six and I neglected to get the name of the person I spoke with over the phone who couldn't hear me because of the noise (and I'm not sure it would have mattered). When I gave him my name he said we weren't put on the list, he then took my name and we began the seating process, which was fine, our server was courteous, although she really struggled through announcing the specials for the evening. This was our first time at your establishment, and your hosts bad behaviour made us almost walk away, if we weren't there for the occasion we were there for we would have left. Someone who isn't rude, a "please wait to be seated sign" or just a seating board on the wall so we could see it would have better than being screamed at by a bartender who needs to take his head out of the clouds. My $100 would have been better spent at other diners who welcome their guests instead of putting them off. Success builds our egos, and alternately breaks down the humble qualities that helped advance our success I ordered the Bleu Cheese Meatloaf entree, which neither tasted like meat or bleu cheese, I am still unsure of what kind of meat was in the meatloaf, I kind of get sick everytime I think of it, if it weren't for the chutney on top, it would have been unedible. Two of us ordered hamburgers well done, welll done should not mean that there is an 1/4 of an inch of black burnt carcinogenic crust around the edges, which if you didn't know it means you have an extremely dirty grill. The walleye special was good but the mushroom shrimp concoction had one small shrimp in it. What a waste.
Pros: good but too salty fries
Cons: bad service

I researched the Town Talk Diner after seeing it on the Food Network with Guy Fieri on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and was very eager to see the place in person. We arrived out front around 5 p.m. and was surprised to find they had valet parking which I immediately pulled up to. Upon walking inside we were immediately greeted by Nick. My wife and I sat at the bar which at the time was half full. After about a minute Nick came back to us and asked us what we would like to drink and asked if we were going to have dinner. We order a couple of beers off of a very nice selection and started looking over the menu. Nick and Adam were two of the three bartenders working that evening. All three were working very well together taking care of customers and the floor servers. Adam took our order for onion rings while we were still deciding on our main course. The tower of rings came our shortly there after and were a sight to behold and very delicious. I decided on the brat burger and my wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The bar was full by this time and the dinning room was filling fast. Nick was working the crowd at the bar with his charm and showmanship and Adam was busy taking care of the patrons at the bar making drinks and taking orders. There was not a minute that went by that wasn't entertaining from either the bartenders of meeting the fellow bar patrons. Everyone that sat at the bar was very friendly and talkative. Nick at one point asked us to step up and give the specials of the night to a new couple that had walked in the door, so myself and the couple to my left explained what Nick had earlier given to us in great detail. Our food arrived after about 20 minutes because of an oversight by one of the bartenders. This may have been a problem in the dinning room, but my wife and I were having such a good time talking with others and the bartenders that it didn't really matter. Nick made sure Adam bought me a beer for the wait. Our food was delicious and I would highly recommend both to anyone. My brat burger was juicy and rather spicy and the fries were great! My wife's pulled pork sandwich I believe had a whole pig on it. It had to be over a pound of pork very moist and smokey. All in all I can't wait to go back and sit at the bar and enjoy the experience again. Thanks guys!
Pros: Bartenders that know service.
Cons: It could be loud for some.

Every time I have been to Town Talk Diner, it seems as if a couple guys who never grew up, decided to open a diner and hire all their friends who are drooling nerds. The only reason I point this out is that the food has been pretty good, but the service is always slow because these guys have to entertain one another behind the bar or the friends that visit them at work. On my last visit, the guy working the bar had to go "out back" with someone sitting near me. While I waited and waited for him to return, I was thinking about leaving without paying the check. Instead I patiently waited for him to return and still regret that I tipped at all or paid the bill. I'm not sure about other people, but I will not return to places that treat customers as if they are getting in the way of the staff trying to have a good time with one another. Oh and the ,loud, loud music is always in bad taste. It is too bad that the staff are allowed to create such a negative environment for those just looking for good food in the neighborhood.
Pros: IT IS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Cons: BAD SERVICE, DROOLING NERDS
