I moved to Minneapolis from Seattle two years ago and had trouble finding a cleaner/tailor I liked. The woman I went to in Seattle was absolutely the best, and I was disappointed with the places here.Then I stopped at Chi Tailor and Cleaners almost a year ago and have been going there ever since. The dry cleaning and tailoring they provide is time efficient and always looks great. And the service is fabulous; the owner always remembers my name and has a smile. I've referred friends and they are pleased as well. By the way they have moved their location to a small strip mall on Lyndale and Franklin.

A friend recommended Chi Tailor because I wear a lot of suits and many times the pants are too long. I thought their turn-around time is great - only a few days compared to the week turn-around time I was given by another dry cleaner. I have also had seams repaired in a few shirts and had them make alterations on an Ann Taylor dress I bought. I really like using them because it allows me to buy sales items at great prices that may not fit the way I like because I know I can take them to Chi Tailor and get good alterations that make my clothes look custom made. Plus, the reasonable pricing helps me keep my wallet looking good.

My husband has never had a problem with Chi Tailor. I once brought in a pair of really expensive jeans, and they matched the thread all wrong. But otherwise did a great job hemming them. The staff is friendly and helpful. The turnaround time is kind of long, though. Maybe it's because they get a lot of business.
