We often shopped at Mall of America - just because we could find everything we needed in one location, and it was close to where we lived. The downside is the size of the mall and parking overflow during the busier times of the year (holidays and weekends)...as it took much longer to just get through the mall and find the stores. Overall, though, it was a great one stop shop to find everything we needed!

Mall of America is a shopper's paradise. With over 500 stores, you can find pretty much anything you are looking for in this mall. In addition to great shopping, there is an indoor amusement park (with plenty of rides including two roller coasters), a huge aquarium, and several other small attractions. While it isn't anything spectacular, it is a nice vacation spot for a few days.

This is an awesome place to enjoy a day..................or a week! Practically every store known is in this place as well as a huge array of fast food and restaraunts. As if that wasn't enough, they boast an amusement park complete with roller coasters [INSIDE!!], arcade, movie theater, Aquarium and things I can't even remember to name-lol. We live only about 20 minutes away [on a good traffic day ;)] and take family time there to just walk around and relax. We have had 1 child b-day at the underwater aquarium and plan on a future one for the amusement park. Nice for dates as well. So much to see and do!

I live about 25 miles from the Mall of America, and my daughter and I enjoy taking my two youngest grandchildren there. Of course, their favorite place is the Camp Snoopy amusement park. It is a lot of fun watching them enjoy the rides, especially the roller coaster. This mall is so large that it is overwhelming for most people, including me, with over 500 stores to shop at. There is free parking for everyone. If you have never gone to the largest indoor shopping center in America, I think that you should go there at least once! I prefer the week days, while the children are in school making it less crowded. People do travel from all over the world to come to the Mall of America to shop. Imagine that! When you go, plan to stay for a good deal of the day and shop until you drop! Have great fun!

With more than 500 shops and a huge indoor amusement park, the Mall of America is the biggest shopping mall in the United States...! It is so big that 32 Boeing 747 aircraft could fit inside! It opened to the public in 1992 and employs more than 12,000 people... It is only closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day... And it is easy to fly in for a quick shopping visit to the Mall because there are airport shuttle buses that run every 30 minutes...

I wish they had more Elevators, or sticks to beat the ignorant people who push in front of you while you are waiting to get on. If you have a stroller you are damned to wait forever to get anywhere. I moved here just over a year ago and I have yet to experience this "Minnesota Nice". I suppose we could blame it on the tourists? I am a shopper though...And This mall has plenty to keep me busy. The amusement park in the middle is great too! There are a lot of places to eat. And any mall with a Marshalls inside has my vote.

I've been to the Mall of America several times. It is enormous. Our Malls in Ohio are nothing compared to it. The Nordstrom's at the Mall of America is one of my favorites. Ann Taylor Loft is so big and has wonderful things that are not in my local store. And there is more than one Victoria's Secret. I need more than one day to cover this mall. Absolutely love it.

The Mall Of America is a great place to take your family occasionally or if they are visiting from out of town. For regular everyday quick shopping I would recommend doing it at a smaller less crowded mall. The Mall is great for the experience of going but the shopping is not easy since you may want to visit many stores which are all under the same roof but not conveniently located near each other. Be prepared to walk for hours upon hours, wear comfortable shoes.
