Get just about any random food import grocery item you can think of and more! Unless it's Sunday, you can fill all your obscure ingredient needs in one quick trip. Never seen so many kinds of fresh feta. Bone up on your willingness to buy items without knowing exactly what they are as there are many products without a lick of english on them....it's like a cracker jack box that way! I stop by Bill's every time I go near that area of town just to see what crazy stuff they've got now. Oh, the bulk olive oil selection is unbelievable.

Bill's Imported Foods has an entire row of olive oils. Every country in the middle east and Mediterranean and more. And I'm talking first cold pressed to the crap they throw away. All kinds in 2 liter containers. They have bulk dried fruits & herbs. They have lots of kinds of feta and they are the only place I know with multiple varieties of medjool dates, even organic! They have Kinder eggs from Germany, fermented yogurt drinks from Syria, Juices from Iran, basically everything imported that you can imagine AND its cheap. They aren't open on Sunday, but every other day you should go!

Need ingredients for an exotic dish you just downloaded off Epicurious? Well, this is the place!
Situated not far from a very good Greek restaurant and a good Middle Eastern deli-this grocer combines a lot of both. Bill's offers good prices on lots of bulk items such as canned olive oil, rice, and chickpeas. It also offers some things you wouldn't expect in a primarily Greek/Middle Eastern shop. Such as a fairly broad, reasonably priced selection of cheeses beyond feta (they have about 8 different kinds of feta, too), and a suprisingly decent selection of Italian hard salami.
I know ghee is a staple of Indian cuisine, but I've never seen it offered for sale before this place. There are also a lot of Indian spices, although the Wedge Co-op has a few more not carried here.
They also have a huge selection of olives at much better prices than most "olive bars" around town.
If I could change a few things about this place-I would add a wider variety of bread, not just pita bread and lavash. I would also add more fresh and dried fruits and vegetables as an alternative to Rainbow foods across the street. But don't let those small gripes dissuade you, Bill's is a great little gourmet food shop.
