At first I thought this place would be another place for bike snobs- those who only ride fancy bikes and really don't care about your crappy ride. But in fact, they are really nice, and helpful and all that good stuff. They do carry the expensive stuff for the above mentioned people, but if you need some repair work, the prices are around average.

The best bike repair shop in the Cities! I love that they will either fix my bike for me, or show me how to do it myself in their public workshop. They have the tools, and the expertise, and they helped me out when I got stuck (and sticky.) It is significantly less expensive to tune your own bike, but you do need a basic knowledge of what you are doing. They have bike tuning classes, which would be helpful. The do charge a nominal fee for the time you spend in the shop, but it is well worth it. You also pay for any supplies you use. If you have the time and interest, it can be a very enjoyable experience to tune your own bike.
