Had reservations for 6 last night (Tuesday). We were seated promptly in a cozy, private alcove. When my mom made reservations, she told them it was my father's birthday, so they specially printed the menus for our table with a happy birthday message on them. The service was awesome from start to finish, by both the server and an assistant. As an example, my brother dropped his napkin on the floor twice, and both times the assistant stopped by and picked it up and replaced it with a fresh napkin. We ordered 3 courses (salad/soup, main course and dessert) and all were served with reasonable timing, and all hot. No complaints about any of the food. I started with a delicious beet and goat cheese salad. The salmon are running, so that was featured widely on their specials. I had a salmon saute with mushrooms and asparagus in a garlic cream sauce. It was EXCELLENT. And a chocolate pudding pie for dessert, which was dense and chocolately. I view this as a fairly high priced restaurant, so we usually only eat there on special occasions (at least once a year on my dad's birthday as he is a seafood fanatic), and we have never been dissapointed.
Pros: Fabulous food and service
Cons: tables by the kitchen are a little loud

Went on a weekday evening with a larger group. The bar was almost full, and the dining room was about %40 full - and contrary to some of the posts here, the service was fine throughout. The food was very good - had the simple pan-fried chicken which I wasn't expecting too much from, but was perfectly and I mean perfectly cooked. In our group the burgers and pulled pork were also hits. But taking the cake for me was the Frickles (fried pickles). I don't really like pickles, so for me to like this dish was a huge surprise.
Bottom line: give the place a try, you might be surprised too.
Pros: Great spin on diner food. Try the Frickles!
Cons: "Adult" malts are hit-or-miss.

We went this weekend a had a blast!!
The drinks are SUPER strong and tasty and they do $4 apps from 10pm - close.
The music was awesome and my friends danced all night to classic 80s music.
Its so unique and different. If youre looking for somewhere fun to go without pretentious people then this is the place to go. Knight Rider was showing on the TVs behind the bar!
We will definately go back for sure!!
Pros: STRONG drinks, GREAT music, GREAT place for a big group!!

My family and I went to Bella on Sunday for their brunch, we had a party of 6 walk in when it was busy. We were seated promptly by the hostess and our server was at our table immediately filling our water glasses and explaining the brunch to us and where to locate everything.
Overall we had a great time at Bella and we will definitely be back for the brunch. Reading some of these reviews and seeing the negative responses about the service makes me wonder if we were at the same restaurant? We were greeted with a smile by the hostess our server was absolutely helpful and the staff was really great. Maybe it just depends on when you go and who is working? If that staff will be there next Sunday you bet I will be there.
Pros: Great service and brunch.

The pork is the best. I've tried lots of places. Both expensive and cheap but no one comes close to Rossi's. I've decided not to try anymore places because I have been disappointed so many times. Rossi's kitchen staff knows how to cook it just perfect so that it is not overcook but thick and juicy. The serving size is the same as dinner's so go during happy hour for a great deal.
Pros: Great Food

We are frequent fine diners at many of the best restaurants in the Twin Cities and this is the best of the best! Its all about extremely high quality ingredients and freshness with innovation and exceptional touches! Try the lamb where they smoke a portion and serve it covered so the smoke essence is there when delivered to your table. Or the shooters that burst in your mouth. Pricing is not any higher (in fact in many cases lower) than many other downtown venues. If you Valet park (very convenient) make be sure to have it validated and then its only a $7 charge. Service and ambiance top notch. Casual - dressy. This place deserves to be packed every night!
Pros: Truly Exceptional food
Cons: None

You can see it all here! The title implies that this is a gay club, which doesn't exactly explain it all. Upstairs is the famous drag show Ladies of LaFemme. It is excellent, the best in MN by far! This show brings in all kinds: gay, straight, bisexual, young, old, men, women, trans...well you get it. On thursday and sunday nights it is 18+, all other nights it is 21+. The 90's is know for it's great atmosphere and VERY strong drinks. If you stick with the same bartender all night and tip well you can ask for an application for a VIP club card which saves you the $5 cover for you and a friend. During the day the 90's serves food which is excellent as well. The drag show starts at 9 pm, but the club as a whole doesn't start getting packed until around 11. When you walk in you are in the techno room, black lights, loud music, digital graphics and all. If your a man you can go to the "porn room" through the mens bathroom. Otherwise, continue on into the main room where gay men and straight women can drool over the sexy men dancing only in thongs on the bar. The dance floor caters to the hip hop crowd. There is a small bar connected to this area that you can go to to actually be able to hold a conversation without yelling. Upstairs you have the bar that serves the drag show. Go down the hallway and you will find the 80's bar. That is just what it sounds like, 80's music. Sunday nights is by far the clubs busiest night, so come on down and check it out!! C-ya there.
