The Mitchell Park Domes make for a great afternoon walk. There are three domes and each one has it's own theme.
The first, is a backyard style theme. With rows of vegetables growing, beautiful tress, and domestic florals. All set in a gorgeous picturesque atmosphere.
The second, is a dry landscape, such as you would find in a dessert. Beautiful plantings and a wonderful pathway.
The third, is a tropical, wet forest type area. Full of birds, butterflies and bugs. This one is my favorite. Blooms from all kinds of plants and trees are abundant. The chirping of the birds is enchanting and enhances the trill of trying to locate the birds hiding in the vibrant foilage.
If you are a military person, retired or active, stop at the USO down by the lakefront..where the museum is, they will give you tickets for FREE admission.
Great parking by the way!!

That, or something similiar is probably what you will say. They have to have more than 100,000 parts in this place. I am so glad to know about this place. They do have everything.
For an example, last year our washing machine did a *kaput* on us. A friend tore the machine apart and handed me some odd part that looked more like a socket for a wrench painted black than it looked like anything that was suppose to be in the washer. Well, my friend who is liscened repairman did not have this part, and would have to order it.
I decided to take my chances and go to 100,000 Parts and see what would happen. Here is where the story gets funny.
So, it is early in the morning, and I arrive with part in hand. A gentleman at the counter that could pass for my late grandfather greeted me with a warm smile and a howdy-do. I walked up to the counter and stated "Do you have this wierd thing?" To which he replied, "I have been waiting all morning for you, hold on." He was gone for less than twenty seconds and returned with this oddball part.
So funny, he had no idea who I was, or what I came there for. Yet he was so knowledgable that without even holding the part to check it out he knew what it was exactly.
I think that says a lot about this place.
Highly recommend. If I could give them more than five stars, I certainly would.
As for parking (which I am so noted for giving my analysis on), the parking is not great. It is front street parking, on a main street. Though I have always had good luck parking within 40 feet of the building. Don't let the parking stop you from going though, it is certainly worth your while.
I would also like to add, after speaking to my repairman friend, his cost for ordering the part for me was nearly 20% higher than what I paid, and that was his cost.. with no mark-up to the customer.
That also says a lot.

I've always known this place as Coerpers. Perhaps it was sold? Not sure. But I have been here several times and it certainly deserves 5 stars.
Honestly, the best steaks I have ever had. YUM-OH!
They have AWEOME food. Come hungry and enjoy! The steaks are truly the best. Everything is good here - from their simple salads to their soups and breads. Just don't fill up too much on these items - wait for the steak.
We ALWAYS blow a lot of money here - but you get what you pay for and it's worth it.
The staff is top notched. The dining experience is very pleasurable. The entire place looks like it's from another era. 1950's? It certainly has a unique look - not because it's been updated to look "old" - I think it has NEVER been updated!
Just a classy place! Love it!
Hours
Tuesday - Saturday dinner begins at 5:30 pm
Bar opens at 5 pm
Reservations are highly recommended.
Area looks a little rough, but they do have an attended parking lot.

THis is such an intimate little club. you get the best of both worlds...small club where you know people or dance floor where you can meet people. THeir music is kickin and their bartenders are the best. Visit this place. Not to mention that there are like 5-10 bars within walking distance.
Pros: intimate, busy, great atmosphere
