I recently took my dog to the Wauwatosa Veterinary Clinic where I found out that my dog is hypothyroid. The staff was very caring and helped me understand what was going on with my dog. I was able to get my dog's prescription filled right at the clinic. This saved me a lot of time. What a convenience! Thanks for taking great care of my pet!

A friend told me about the Wauwatosa Veterinary Clinic after I was unhappy with my last vet. I have nothing but great things to say about my whole experience. Everyone, from the front desk to the doctor was very helpful and caring. They helped my dog when the other vet clinic had given up on him. I will not go anywhere else.

I got a new puppy and took it to the Wauwatosa Veterinary Clinic. The staff was friendly and very knowlegable. They provided me with tools to help me work with my puppy. I loved the fact I got a binder of helpful information I could review with my family and the picture of my puppy was a great touch. Keep up the great work. I couldn't be more satisfied with my visit. I took a new puppy for a wellness check, she was inoculated by the breeder, an experienced breeder who was known for excellent dogs for over 20 yrs. The vet didn't accept the shots given and inoculated the puppy again, in addition to this the vet was rough with this little dog, a 10 week old dachshund, so it was not like it was a 140 lb mastiff. While I can't say for sure, but I believe these double inoculations weakened the immune system of my puppy, in 3 weeks my once healthy puppy was dead. The reviews here seem ok for this vet, but I suggest you look around the web, you will find my feelings in the majority for this establishment. I will never, ever take one of my animals to this wretched place. Be warned. Pros: none Cons: all

I adopted my dog from the Wisconsin Humane society last fall and took her to this clinic purely based on location and that their name was in the paperwork I was given when I took her home. I have had nothing but problems with this clinic such as receiving mail that my pet is overdue for treatments that she has already had and then finding out they couldn't even find our information in their computer. I was overcharged and at one point they tried to give her shots that she was already current on. If I had not followed my pet's care so carefully and argued with them repeatedly my dog would have recieved a second Rabies shot, another distemper shot and a blood test she wasnt due for until this October. Who knows what would have happened if I hadn't fought this. They actually tried to refuse selling me the Heartgard my pet uses. After learning of this mistake I recieved several formal apologies, but they still charged me for the appt. What a joke! Do your research, I wish I had! You will be better off somewhere else.
