I have been seeing plays at the Rep since they moved into their current space. And THAT'S been a LOOONG time!
I love everything about it!
The theater is great! Seats are perfect! The actors - THE BEST!
I love EVERYTHING about it!
My husband and I would see EVERY play that the Rep produced and for a while, we saw just about every professional play in Milwaukee. And the Rep always stood out as THE BEST!
If you are trying it out for the first time, grab your Entertainment book and use the 2 for 1 coupons. If you enjoy what you see, think about subscribing to season tickets. You can get some awesome deals for some great theater!
HUGE THUMBS UP!

Concerts, Games, a whole different variety of things go on at the Bradley Center. Although some of the venues can be a little different, you can always expect a safe trip and safe time inside.
The security is great, and there are usually no problems heard of.
The headlining concerts are awsome to attend because of the great seating and not outrageous ticket prices.
Parking, though, can sometimes be a problem and the lots around the Bradley Center rip you off!

Not alot of people know, or visit, the comedy cafe on Brady street but honestly I have seen some of the best comedians around doing gigs there. The setup inside is pretty nice, you can hang out, have a few drinks, and laugh until your sides hurt. The vibe inside is really intimate, it isn't a huge club, nearly everyone has a great view of the stage.

I originally went to Ko Thi because a friend of mine was performing with the (rather exclusive) African dance troupe and I have since been back 3 times. It is a really fun event that features the most hypnotic drum beats I've ever heard. A great cultural and musical performance piece, a must see!

The secret here in the city of Milwaukee is our very own art museum.
This is a great art museum with a lot to see.
It's a grand scale museum. The artwork is not only on the inside but also on the outside. It's right on the lake and has a beautiful view with a beautiful design.
Special viewings of famous art work comes in monthly.
Whether you live here already or are just visiting the area, I suggest you check it out.
There is a nominal fee to see the showcased art work.

I'm kind of torn as to how to critique this theater.
There are definite positives and minuses.
I went to see Train a few nights ago and commented to my friend how it's been years since my last show here.
I enjoyed this performance (which isn't hard to do when you LOVE a particular band) - but the theater? Again, good and bad.
Good - The theater is very conveniently located. Get downtown, you'll find it.
Bad - Since it's right downtown, parking can be hard to find or pricey.
Good - I got lucky and found an ideal parking spot on the street. PERFECT and FREE!
Bad - Lots of construction downtown and all over the I system. Can be tricky getting downtown.
Good - The theater is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Just a gorgeous building. Interior is fabulous.
Bad - Seats are not staggered. If the person right in front of you is big, has a big head, or big hair - you are outta luck.
Bad X2 - My friend's seat was broken. Theater was packed. Couldn't move. Outta luck again.
Good - Very intimate setting.
Bad - People have the mentality of being in an arena. Having "crazies" next to you in an intimate setting - not so good.
Good - They serve liquor and you can bring your drinks to your seats.
Bad - They serve liquor and you can bring your drinks to your seats.
Good - If you want to kick back, sit and watch the show in the plush, cushy seats - you can.
Bad - As in any venue, people will get up to dance, so you are forced to stand - like it or not.
Overall, I'm giving this place a 4 star. Mostly for the intimacy you get with national acts. Just can't beat it in such a wonderful setting.
TIP - if there is a show coming up that you have to see - join the Riverside's email group. You'll get to buy tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
Also, their website is not very good about showing you WHERE your seats will be. You are better off calling in to buy your seats.
