I went here for the first time last week after reading a review of this place. I am amazed. I really didn't think that they would be any different than any other dollar store. But I was so wrong.
Lots of good stuff here.
Stop on by. It's a beautiful thing.

I've shopped here online for years! So random. The best part is really their catalog. The writing is amazing. They have some creative and fun folks working there! When I ran my last online shop that wasn't my own business (no company names) I would read the catalog for inspiration. It is so funny and witty. They convince you it is junk that you need! It is really great for crafters, and service is always good.

My best friend brought me to Creative Fire for the first time in November of last year, and I am a true convert. My 7 yo son adores the place, and they are wonderful with him. Kids are allowed to make their own creations, and the only real correctionis when somthing in their design won't fire well. My son hasn't participated in a formal class with them yet, but that will probably be his birthday gift this year. The owners are so supportive, and have great tips on when and how to use tools, what glazes are appropriate, and what will and won't work out in the kiln.
I have never heard them be rude or unkind to anyone. One family that is in regularly has three extremely small children, and Suzy and Becca are both wonderfully patient with them. I would reccomend this place to everyone interested in pottery!
Pros: Fantastic staff, studio time, free parking
Cons: there are cons?

I was in BASIK a few days back on a Saturday, and it was pretty nice. There were rose petals everywhere for the month of love and just and all around pretty place. My experience was cool. I walked in and receptionist was so bubbly, and explained that clients before from Chicago had gotten lost and they were running a little behind. I didn't mind at all cause I was completely relaxed upon entering basik. A little behind was about 30 minutes, so I was actually taken upstairs for what I thought was the beginning of my massage. I was taken to a shower, and oh my goodness was it great. This shower had water coming from 4 or 5 different directions. I put on a robe afterwards, and my therapist was waiting for me right at the door. The next hour was beyond awesome with hot towels, and plenty attention to my tired muscles. I didn't even realize how thorough a massage could be. Well, anyway they got to me late but really made up the time with the great massage. I rescheduled and I will wait again to get the attention I got here! Thanks ladies.
Pros: Great Massage
Cons: none

I love to go o the museum and so does my daughter. There is always a new exhibit and stuff is always changing. We went no too long ago and hey had the chocolate exhibit which was so neat! Not to mention the store of all different chocolates at the end of the exhibit. Prices are a bit on the high side for purchasing items but it is a great place to visit.

My husband & I are new to Milwaukee and live Downtown, so walking here from Brady Street was nice. This is a LOT like Barneys in NYC, with imaginative tables arranged for some fabulous dinner, with all the accessories. We found some colorful votives ($35) from Sweden, and a saleslady, Lee, showed us lots of options...After we were done shopping, we had a glass of wine in the Tea Room upstairs and waltzed through the cutest baby area on the way up there. When we were done, our gold gift box was waiting for us, making our first stop to Watts easy as pie.
Pros: Fun displays!!!
Cons: Only one store

I was sad to see that Wade was selling his shop a few years back, but it seems the new owner's kept up the tradition, because the place hasn't changed a bit. They have the best small selection of awesome vintage electrics in town, plus some new electrics and plenty of acoustics. The staff is a bunch of cool guys, who are friendly and helpful. Prices are great as well.
PROS: Staff is great, selection and prices
CONS: none

Bring a quarter for the grocery cart. Bring your own bags or buy some or better yet take some boxes.
Prices are cheap. Their brand of stuff. Sometimes I name brand. A lot cheaper than any other grocer around.
