I have great memories of growing up in Milwaukee and going to Kopp's on Sunday afternoons for burgers and custard! Even after we moved away, we still made a trip to Kopp's whenever we were visiting the area. The Flavor of the Day custard was always something new and always something incredible... and the burgers were wonderful as well. I noticed on their website (www.kopps.com) that those of us who are no longer in the area can now have custard shipped to us! ;) How awesome is that??? I really hope this Milwaukee tradition never dies!!!

And yes, I am guilty of having visited all three locations - but ONLY for the purpose of . . . writing this review! HA! Kopp's is a Milwaukee standard. The other reviews sum it up. Great custard and great food. Plus - come hungry - the portions are big. Only the Brookfield location has indoor seating. But that has never deterred anymore from visiting the other locations. Each has its own charm, with my favorite being the Southridge location in Greenfield. Can't beat the "waterfall" and communing on the stairs while downing your huge cheeseburger and oh-so-yummy onion rings. Plus, don't wait for summer to go. I hear the custard calling your name RIGHT NOW! Remember, you can call the Flavor Hotline to see what you'll be eating before you get there! Yum!

I have to admit, I had never had custard til I moved to Milwaukee. Now I am so addicted to this stuff. This Kopp's was the very first place I ever tried custard at. It is exceptionally good. The offer a menu of regular fast food fare that is quite good also. If you have yet to try custard, do not wait another day. Nice clean atmosphere. Good parking. Good services. Fair prices. Mediocore menu.

Yes, Kopp's custard is definitely among the best around, but don't let the name fool you...there is so much more. Each day Kopp's features either 1 or 2 special flavors of the finest custard around. However, they also offer a wide variety of other menu items also. For the sweet tooth, there are sundaes, malts and shakes. If you are looking for dinner, they offer huge hamburgers, chicken, and fish sandwiches, all offered with the toppings that you request.
