Love this school - both kids went there and had a great time. Focus is on socialization through play and the teachers are very experienced and loving. The school's been around for over 60 years and it's a really special place.

This is the best hair salon I've been to. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else. The prices are unbeatable. I paid $14.00 to get my hair highlighted. I called last minute to set up an appointment and they got me in 15min after I got off the phone. My hair turned out absolutely perfect. They also gave me a free parafin wax on my hands. My hairstylist got me something to drink while my hair was drying. Everyone there was so nice. I deffinately will be back!

I was impressed by the flexibility of the school. Could definitely be worth checking out if you are looking to go back to school.

I might be biased since I have lived in Milwaukee all of my life, but UWM was/is the perfect school for me.
The campus is extremely large, but keep in mind this is mostly a commuter school, so it doesn't always seem like it. Though UW-Madison might far better academically, the location of UWM can't be beat. Located right near Lake Michigan, you are right on the trendy side of the city and right near downtown, with all it's bars, restaurants and other attractions.
Academically, I am sure it must vary by program, but I found that it suited me perfectly in my degree areas of English and Mass Communication.

This place was an exceptional place to get a computer science degree. I was accepted in to Madison and was recommended by a few people to check out UWMilwaukee. After seeing the education has to offer in that it actually teaches C++ and not Java based, I ended up getting a great job in corporate America. Whereas my counter parts at other UW schools and even private schools are still looking for work because C++ programmers are in demand. I highly recommend this school for CS, because you have a better chance at getting to work i n your field; This field is just about all overseas now =(

I took my son here for an open gym. WOW! What fun! It's a GREAT place for toddlers to run, jump and play!
Swiss Turner is a gym to train gymnasts. They have a billion classes here, everything from basic to advanced gymnastics, to cheerleading tumbling and boy classes. They have programs for adults to toddlers.
The facility is huge and can be the PERFECT thing for a child who desires to get into this sport.
My son is 2 and fully enjoyed bouncing on the trampolines, climbing the walls and foam shapes, and of course, the foam pit was a HUGE hit!
Love this place - but at $5 per child to play in the open gym, it's a place that will be a treat and not a weekly trip. I'm sure the classes are great, but more than what I can personally pay.
Still, a load of fun!!!!!!!!!!

Good: I love the staff here. Everyone is so kind and caring. They take the time to get to know my children and my family. The teachers are all 4 year degree in early childhood ed. and most have been there 10 or more years! My children have been here since they were two and come back every year for summer until they are too old. I love that they offer a full-day 4K program. Can't get that at public schools. Plus they are so flexible with scheduling. If you want good high quality care you will definitely find it!. Bad: nothing. Improvements: More people to enroll their children here.. Other: I love that St. Aemilian's is non-profit and open to everyone. It's wonderful that they even accept W-2 Childcare considering the tough economic times. I don't have to compromise my children's care just because of economic changes! The director is extremely helpful and willing to work with you no matter what your needs are..
